Do not bother. Save your money and time. Service does not exist here. Go to the fish and chip shop instead

Hotel units are great with your own lawned courtyard but poor TV reception. Food a little pricey but it's above average pub food with a good range, including vegetarian options.

Extremely flavoursome tapas and light foods, with great boutique beers. Staff are very friendly, and accommodating. A very pleasant experience indeed.

My husband and I had reserved a table for 7pm, we arrived about 10 minutes early, we were asked to wait in the bar area until our table was available, 50 minutes later we were seated, we had pre ordered our meal, but still an hour later were still waiting for our meal, my husband got our money back, we went to The Grand Pacific Hotel and were seated and served straight away, the meal was fantastic, we will be coming back here again, I would not go or recommend The Lorne Hotel to anyone, extremely disappointed

Worst place I’ve ever been to. The 6-packs in the bottle shop are $25 (!) forcing me to drive to Anglesea and back. Then the following day the staff tell us my dog is welcome in the beer garden, then once we are seated a rude lady comes over and kicks us out. What a shame I didn’t get to order one of your $50 steaks - not in Movida mind you, from the bar menu. Your business is a joke.

Do not recommend at all.
We waited about 1 hour for our food to arrive. When it did arrive it was cold, dry and just not nice. They are well overpriced for what you get. $25 for a small chicken schnitzel then add $2 for the smallest pot of gravy. Apart from being cold it was so dry that you needed the gravy to make it palatable.

Kids meals are $12.50 each for a few nuggets and chips, unlike almost every other place kids meals do not include a drink or dessert.

Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of the fish, though equally cold and extremely dry.

Also used their kids zone, apart from a jumping castle and a xbox not much else. Two TV's were out of action. No movies aying in the theatre room. Very run down. Feels like it's in the storage room.

This place is way overpriced for what you get and the very poor service. So many other, better places to go. Don't waste your money or time.

Great staff and great vibes and most importantly the beer is ice cold with a really good selection they also have the footy playing and any other sport events that may be important that the time

Spent a night here in the budget rooms. For the price we paid we were blown away. The room was small but it was so well utilised! The renovations they have done recently is 10/10! Everything in the room is quality products and fittings. The bed was a tad hard but for the price we paid we were extremely happy.

Dinner was great! Service was good too. Will be back

Lovely old building, does need a bit of maintenance. Had lunch at the hotel, food was fabulous, staff very friendly and welcoming. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Gone from bairly satisfactory to worse. The girl taking kitchen orders was extremely rude so much as giving me the eye roll when I asked her to clarify what a menu item was. The bar staff lady was no better, doesn't take much to have manners and be polite.

Meal was ok though salad could have done with some tomato Drinks were expensive $5.50 pot mid beer and $3.50 pot soda water other than that was ok

Nice town, nice people, and great surroundings from beachside backwards!

Refurbished recently, top dollar for accommodation. Restaurant very expensive, PLUS 2 nights accommodation without ROOM SERVICE! Not impressed

Small but quaint hotel. Colonial architecture? Steps away from a very quiet & pleasant beach. Simple & practical family room. Very very clean. Our room had no views. But beds & pillows really comfortable. Slept well & I usually don't in hotels. Friendly cheerful staff.

We stayed 3 nights at the end of March to attend a wedding. Our sml room no bch views but we were very happy with the lovely deco & especially the cleanliness & lovely bathroom. Sarah a staff member was very lovely, supplying us with fresh towels, tea coffee etc on the second day. Sarah also lent me a nice warm jacket & a beanie as it turned very cold & we didn't have enough warm clothing. We would definitely stay again if in VIC again. Loved our stay & staff made it special.

We love the Lorne Hotel! What a fantastic setup with a rooftop beer garden over looking the beautiful Lorne Beach! Pop in for a drink or a delicious meal, you will definitely be impressed! Our meals this time around were amazing, the menu offers a fantastic selection for everyone! If you are a sea food lover the seafood plate or share platter is the go! The local wildlife will come and say hi as well!

Rude staff, made us feel guilty for ordering a drink close to closing time. Nice setup of a bar tho.

We were here for a birthday gathering and it did not disappoint! Service was quick and helpful. Food was good too and big portions. A great place to watch the sun go down and unwind!

Need to improve on the restaurant table service, $120 seafood platter and had to go and ask for bowls and plates!
