53Worst experience ever! Worst tailoring skills and worst services altitude! The old lady there is offensive! Won't ever ever ever come back to this shop again!
I went to the shop to change the length of my dress. I was not satisfied with the length when I picked it up. And they changed it again. I appreciated that. But the length was still not right. And the staff complained to me and even angry with me to say "there is a lot of work to do! ” OMG I spent almost 70 dollars to change the length of my dress. I do not why I deserve to be treated in this way.
Overcharge $158.70. Made my clothes wrinkled +. Nancy started telling me off very loudly when i said the clothes were not ironed like other alteration places i go to. I was so humiliated.
Don't waste your money here. They are extremely overpriced and have bad customer service. I have no idea how they have survived.
The service here is soo bad. I wanted my trousers to be shortened and tightened. She insisted on tightening without shortening it. So, I told her to do whatever she wants. She got mad and asked me to go to another shop without apologizing!
Do not use these guys.
I took 4 suit jackets in as i had lost some weight around the waist. I was informed it would take a week. Not an issue. Arrived a week later and they hadnt even started working on them. They then advised me to come back in two hours. They rushed and then ruined my suits, one brand new godwin and charli jacket not even stitched properly down the back. Exasperated after trying to sort it out i left.
Stay away unless you are a glutton for punishment
Such bad customer service skills! I've had jeans altered with them before and they turned out fine so I thought to go to them to take up the hem of a pair of white wide leg trousers.
They came back with the lining almost 4-5 inches shorter than the actual hem length. I was confused and angry. So I questioned them about it and they said it's how it's supposed to be. So I went back to Forever New which is where I got the pants from and bought another one to show them that that's NOT how it's supposed to be. If the pants were black maybe I wouldn't care so much but they were WHITE and slightly see through, the length of where the lining stopped was obvious.
They tried arguing back and cover up by offering to stitch over and sew back an additional flap on the lining and I had to argue so long to make my point which was that wasn't what I paid for. They didn't ask nor did I tell them to make the lining so short. It should have been as simple as giving it to me the way I gave it to you, just shorter.
The manager was so rude! She refused to deal with it and left it to her staff! Who does that? ! She didn't want to compensate the cost of the pants even though her staff wrecked it and left her staff to sort it out with me. The girl who altered my pants offered to pay out of her own pocket and though it may have been her fault, that's certainly NOT how a manager should have handled things! The other gent working there was just as rude and tried to find all sorts of ways to cover up offering to tailor it some more to make the pants the same length as the lining and I had repeatedly said the length of the actual pants was fine, any shorter and it would be too short! A refund was all I was looking for and even that, was so difficult. Apparently I needed the original receipt of the pants to prove I paid for it when the tags were clearly on it and I even showed a bank statement that it had just been purchased the day before.
After arguing and going back and forth they finally agreed to return the cost of the pants but the whole ordeal could have been better dealt with if they were more polite! I've worked in high end retail before and whenever our tailors stuff up an alteration we always replace a new one back for free for the customer. It's all about good service! This was just poorly handled!
Needless to say I'm never going back there again.

Angela knew exactly what to do when I took my winter coat for alterations - the service was polite, professional and prompt. I'm really pleased with the result and will seek her out next time I need alterations!

Warm and super good service, Nancy is the best staff there, very friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
I recently had some unique tasks regarding a heavily decorated motorbike jacket and a simple hemming job. As usual Nancy provided a great job, going up and beyond what was required; Great Service. I always come back to the QV store for all matters regarding clothing alterations.
Excellent pricing and very quick work on my opera gown. Got so many lovely comments about it at my recent singing event. Service was also extremely friendly and obliging!
