Longbeach Hotel

No good. Went to ask what the roast of the day was like and got the answer ‘I dont know I dont eat here. Went to the bar and asked if there was any good single malt got the answer ‘what brand is that? ’ Mediocre over priced food and staff have no idea.

We have been to Costello's Longbeach Hotel many times and we enjoyed each and every meal. The place is well located and there is sufficient free parking at the back. They have a nice venue - also for Seniors. The staff has always been very polite and helpful. We must go back again soon. Keep the good work!

A disappointing meal from last night. I was expecting better. It was only thinly over cooked Pork you can buy from the supermarket. I was expecting chunky juicy pork belly bites. I ate chunky juicy pork cube pieces in my house there in San Isidro on Camotes Island in the Philippines. This pork super disappointing n not eat here again as my fellow diner was also disappointed with her Barramundi meal

Great food, friendly service and overall great environment. Would highly recommend getting the Angus burger

My nephew's 30th birthday party was held in the upstairs function room, and it was wonderful. Loads of room for dancing, space for kids, great food and friendly staff.thanks for an enjoyable afternoon.

Spent an afternoon swimming at Chelsea beach then went to Castellos for dinner with kids. It was not crowded even though it was a 34° day, service was good meals were delicious and priced well. Will be going back soon highly recommend this place

We dine here for lunch on the odd occasion. Food is good and reasonably priced. Staff all friendly too.
EDIT On reflection, I have moved from 4 to 5 stars.

Great customer service and excellent coffee and Carmel slice. Company was fantastic veiw great too.

Very comfortable atmosphere, tables well spread apart. Had the yummiest pasta - Penne Chicken with cheese sauce - was delicious, and cheesy garlic bread. One of the nicest meals l have had. Have recommend to friends to try this dish.

We usually have a great meal here but my wife had scales on her fish. The crumbs on her fish were not cooked. It was the worst meal we have had here.

Very disappointing Seniors serve of barramundi. Approx 30gm serve of fish or 1 fish finger size. If barramundi is too expensive, don't include it on the Seniors menu. Another diner at our table had the penne bolognaise which was a nice small bowl size. At least 50gm bolognaise sauce.
Ordered the lemon and honey pudding to fill my hungry tummy.an individual steam pudding which was delicious! Phew:)

Quality of food has reduced since new ownership. My family and I were all quite disappointed, as we have loved coming to the Longbeach for years!

Waited over an hour for our meals to arrive, wrong names and wrong meals. Asked several staff what was happening, staff went to find out and never returned. Very disappointing. Never again.

Food was very impressive and reasonably priced. Good, friendly service too. Kids play area was sufficient to keep the little ones entertained. Would be happy to go back

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean eating area and bathrooms. Yummy food and a good selection of sweets if you’re in for just a coffee (or cocktail) and cake. There’s a cute little play area for kids to keep them occupied while the parents enjoy a peaceful meal ;)

Luvly venue, very fresh and clean.

Good menue and the foot was good and ariety of beverage excellent

Unfortunately the service & time did not reflect the cost of the meals. Your level of service could be higher. Waiting 60 mins for mains meals & watching 4 staff members “wait” at the servers window, was a disgrace. I was not impressed when desserts delivered to the table whilst main meals where still not collected. The disorganisation of staff was present & reflected in the service. I am not one to complain but for the price I paid, I was not impressed. I have been a regular supporter but after tonight we won’t be back.

Have been here before but no more! Meals ordered by my husband and I were either soggy and not as described on the menu or very dry. Not value for money. Complained to manager on duty who was totally indifferent. Better to try one of the local cafes.

This place would get a solid five stars if they started to open the upstairs area. Such a wasted space!

Nice and clean atmosphere. Staff were friendly. Facilities for kids are a bonus. Pram and child friendly. An elevator for disabled or pram access to upper level was great.
