Little Swallow Cafe

We visited Little Swallow Cafe cafe 2 days in a row and 3 times in just 5 days. Love the food. Tried Paella, Korean Chicken burger, waffles, Salmon salad, and one meal from the specials menu. Absolutely amazing food. The staff is really nice and friendly. Definitely 5 stars.

This was yum. We both got the paella and it was to die for. The portion size was just right. It was served in a pan so it stayed hot which was great. Just be careful not to plunge into it with too much abandon as the prawns still have their tails on so you have to fish them out and take the tails off. It came with this delicious pickled tomato relish sort of thing which gave it just the right amount of tartness and was mouthwatering with the flat bread. I quite liked the decor, especially the green colour of the paint they used. Only 2 complaints overall: the light fittings are too unmatching and none of the staff wear uniform so its really hard to pick them.

Coffee was good. Carrot cake was good - personally I dislike sultanas in it but still good. Orange & poppy seed cake was terrible, we had to throw them out.
Service was great, the young guy that took my order was so sweet! He even opened the door for me and helped take my items to my car, I actually sent my husband and mother in law for lunch there solely because of this kid’s service. Everyone was pretty welcoming and kind except the man on the coffee machine, he looked angry - cheer up, it’ll do wonders for the patrons!

Service and shake was amazing!
I got greeted by a staff member who clearly showed they enjoy working there and happily took my order of their choc milkshake. It took no time to prepare and tasted amazing! Possibly one of if not THE best choc milkshake I've had.

I dropped in for a quick cofffee on the way back to Melbourne. I absolutely loved their coffee and yummy house made dessert. Staff are very friendly and helpful.highly recommend if you are going to visit Kyneton.

I always order their Paella and they never fail to make my tastebuds sing! Their fresh juice (apple carrot and ginger combo) was absolutely great!

Walked in at around midday and were accommodated without fuss despite a clearly busy period.
Simple yet well appointed menu.
My wife had the paella and I had the Ruben, both quite delicious.
Coffee was also amazing.
Highly recommended.

I wanted to love it, but it was hugely disappointing.
The food took 45 minutes to come. Two other tables who arrived considerably after us got served their orders before us.
My food seemed to have been badly reheated, as some parts were hot and some were cold. The wrong cutlery was provided for the meal type.
I hope it was all just a consequence of being out of practice post lockdown.

Good coffee and pretty fast given it was market day.
