The best part was the dessert, but anyone can put a brownie on a plate and microwave it. One waitress was really lovely and the other was obviously having a bad day. The steak was really chewy and made our jaws hurt by the end. Would definitely not be paying so much for such mediocre food.

What a comfy pub. We had a late lunch here on a Wednesday in early January, I think it was about 3pm and they had no problems serving us meals at that time of day. Really good pub food. Great beer selections. Happy, friendly staff. My partner was happy because they had the cricket on their screens ;)

This pub has a great selection of draught beers. The atmosphere is very relaxed. During my visit there were children spread out on a table (family friendly) although I found it difficult to find a place to sit. We were there in a Groupon voucher. The food was very good and the selection of what we could eat from the Groupon menu was also good. I settled for the 300g steak. It was very good. My friend seemed for the burger and chips. The verdict - most enjoyable.

Worst Parma ever dry chicken a Napoli sauce more like tomato paste and burnt cheese comes with a small coleslaw and chips stay clear as cook and staff don't care go to Gloden Fleece as they have excellent food

GROUPON: My partner and I loved our evening at Limerick Arms. Entrees were large portions and tasted excellent. Chicken Rib sauce was quite spicy but we knew that it was coming! Lamb Shank was MASSIVE and cooked perfectly (highly recommend). Parma was okay.tasted like a pizza’ry sauce and was slightly oily but a Parma is a Parma can’t complain! Price was unbeatable with The groupon voucher!

PS the person next to us had the Seafood Linguine which I wish I had have ordered.looked really nice!

Nice food, good drink selection, reasonable prices and friendly efficient service what more could you want in a local pub.

Amazing Groupon deal. Chicken and lamb ribs are amazing. Parma is huge and tasty, lamb was awesome as well. Deserts are tasty and yumm. Thank you Stacy for raking care of us tonight. Lovely person with sence of humor. She was making everyone enjoying this dinner and made us laughing. Highly recommend this place

$7 steaks but mushroom sauce is $3 extra and to swap to mash and veg instead of chips and salad is $4.50 extra. Might as well go down the road to the Golden Gate for a $10 steak

We were gifted a Groupon voucher dinner for four and pleasantly surprised from the phone call booking till we left. Felt like our local across the other side of town. Great food very reasonable price and excellent service and quality staff and screens if you love sports. Will be back for a after work and a bite to eat for sure. Cheers

Solid pub food and drinks. 5 star its not but if you like decent pub grub and a few drinks. It great. Always busy but staff are great and although it is a bit AFL oriented when it comes to footy I dont hold that against them. Though it would be nice if they could make allowance for the rugby union.

Really friend service and enjoyable atmosphere. Seafood pasta is so tasty I love the source a lot. Lamb rib is amazingly good. Steak is a little bit cooked over and taste boring.but potato is incredible delicious which is funny. Very decent and enough potion.

Nice pub with good value feeds. Tuesday nights is burger night for $10 which is bang on.
Service is generally ok but can be up and down as they are normally transient staff and a lot don’t know what they sell except for what’s on tap.

Upstairs function area has a little bar and is a great space if you have a birthday etc

Great location in the centre of Melbourne, great and well priced food, and huge beer range. But best of all is the incredible customer service. The bar staff is one of the best in Melbourne hands down.

Great food, friendly service, good atmosphere.

Been here a several times. Enjoyed each and every time. Most of the dishes were good and quality was almost the same each time. Very consistent.

1/ the lemon pepper calamari was fresh, sweet and real rather rubbery

2/ the lamb shank was tender, juicy and not rough

3/ the pan fried salmon was fresh, juicy and perfectly cooked. Great timing

4/ the lamb ribs were good 2 out of 3 times, they were too fatty at one time

5/ the Southern chicken ribs were good most of the time, they were a bit oily at times

6/ the parma serving was huge, the egg was a bit too raw to our liking, and sadly the chicken was overcooked that day, it was dry and rough. We did not try this dish again

7/ the desserts were good, both the brownie and pudding were not overly sweet

Overall, great food, solid quality, friendly service and value for money.

The sticky date pudding was one of the best I've had and the streak tasted calamari tasted great too. Unfortunately the salmon was lacking and it was very noisy as the bar is open plan to the bistro. The staff were very friendly.

One surprise was the house red. It was very smooth.

I'd go again but not a third time if I had a similar experience.

Excellent food. Steaks cooked to perfection. Broccolini was lovely. Mushroom sauce could be better as it was runny and not creamy.
The entree calamari was tasty. Dessert was a sticky date pudding with icecream. Very satisfying.
A lovely environment with a band and friendly staff.
We'll be back

Great! Better than expected. Excellent service, good selection of beers, good food at reasonable reasonable prices. Accommodated a group of 12 really easily.

-) my steak tasted like a pair of miners boots. Not only was it chewy like rubber but the outside was so burnt it tasted like charcoal.

Amazing! Great steak, perfect rare, beautiful atlantic salmon, ribs for entre were fantastic and da bread with ghe feta and beetroot was my fav as well! 5 star!
