Great pub! Visited on St Patrick’s Day; live music; Guinness and Kilkenny on tap; wonderful lunch; efficient, friendly and ever smiling staff. Have visited many times but St Paddy’s Day was special. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a good time.

One of the handful of mixed pubs in South Melbourne.

Came here to escape the rain before a bikeride home.

Pint of Killarney was $14 which is on the average side for Melbourne areas.

Pub has a nice "local" vibe. Which i would describe as a nice mix in-between some of the more rough pubs in the area and the overly ritzy, expensive pubs.

Offered iced water by staff on a hot day. Free of charge and rejected tip! Excellent service from friendly staff!

Great schnitzels, wide range of beers and good service. I had the Rodriguez schnitzel and highly recommended it.

Very polite, friendly staff. Quick service. Meals were a decent size and very tasty. Nice variety of beers. Will be returning soon.

It was good to go out to a pub and have a Australian staple. Chicken pama. It was very satisfying.

There is good pub food and there is OK pub food. The Limerick Arms Hotel on a Friday night is a busy place. COVID protocols were in place with check in at the door and bar staff asking every time you ordered a drink whether you’d checked in.

As a family of 5 we ordered a number of Limerick Parma’s, Porterhouse Steak and the Trevalley. Big serves but unfortunately quantity won out over quality. The chicken Parma was a 3 out of 5. The Porterhouse Steak was well done when medium was the order - 3 stars. The Trevalley however was a real let down. How do you say this delicately - it just wasn’t fresh. That’s unforgivable. Accompanied by chips and limp salad. Presentation of all dishes was ho hum.

Be aware also this place is loud. So loud we had to shout at each other to be heard across the table.

Although we enjoy drinks in this pub, the food is very ordinary. Had Beef and Guinness pie that was floating in the watery fat from the beef. My husband's fish and chips were very overcooked. No excuse really as the pub was empty. Won't eat here again.

Great environment and very helpful & friendly staff. The food was ribs for entree, was just so delicious! However, the parma was a huge let down, as it was very, very average (try using thigh instead) dry, not much sauce, cheese overcooked and the worst mash potato I have ever had. The wooden floors make it very noisy, though it is brilliant for watching the footy!

Irish themed pub, came here for drinks, haven’t ordered food so no comments on that, basic outdoor seatings with heaters on cold days. Decent pub.

Fabulous South Melbourne pub. Always well decorated and very clean interior, it looks like they have recently freshened up. Great beer selection with some uncommon choices (the ginger beer is so refreshing on a hot day). Really good food, very welcoming overall.

Awesome Margarita and beer battered fish burger! We requested for Dijon and English mustard. Gosh the English mustard was amazing with a zing! Loved it. Highly recommend this place if you are after a pub with great service!

Limericks had a good atmosphere and friendly staff.
But the portion sizes are too small for the price that you pay. Also, the burgers are dry.

Really awkward experience ordering, ordered food, got told they were sold out 15 minutes later, reorder the alternative offered by the employee, then another 15 minutes later I got told I couldnt actually have that alternative

Great friendly service and delicious food for 2 - yummy flat bread with tzatziki, beetroot and olives for entree; medium cooked angus steak had lots of flavour as well as the tender lemon pepper calamari; shared a fantastic sticky date pudding to finish - highly recommended, great value and we will be back - well done!

Have eaten here a few times with and without the kids and the service, staff and food have always been great. Especially great service from the staff when we've been as a family.

Be careful if you bring in a discount voucher, I had a 35% off voucher from eat club and they also reduced the serving size of the fish and chips by the same % resulting in a tiny serving!

Went to watch the Lakers game to honour Kobe Bryant. It was played on several TVs, but I was informed they will not put the sound on. No other major sports were on, and was a disappointing for a place that is know for televising sports.

They also introduced a “new app” where you don’t have to get out of your seat. Use the app to order drinks and food from your seat. Ordered a pint of pan head, after 18 minutes and no beer, therefore I informed the bar staff.

10 minutes later still no beer. I asked for my money back. 5 minutes later still no money returned. I left the establishment without having the beer and having paid for it. I haven’t got 33 minutes to spare waiting for a pint.

Very disappointed with my experience and won’t be going back any time soon, shame as it’s my local.

Was craving for some steak on Friday and came across the 2 course deal on Groupon. The first serve that I received had an unwanted piece of plastic. Once told about this, the waitress removed the plate immediately without questions and got it replaced. The second serve was perfectly cooked medium rare; tender and juicy. Despite the slight hiccup, we had a great evening and finished up with amazing desserts. Definitely will be back for more! Great customer service and value for money!

We went when there was a lot of pubs closed in the area and understand that they were busy but; we ordered and took 1+ hours for our meals to come - after asking where they were the waitress came up and offered us a drink and apologised for the delay which was great. BUT when my meal came it was possibly the WORST chicken Ceasar salads I have ever had - I mean really how can to mess this up? Just use fresh produce = don't boil the chicken and then try and add flavor to it by grilling it. USE free range eggs got knows what that insipid thing was that was impersonating an egg. Lucky all the other pubs in the area will be open next week
