Leisurelink Aquatic & Recreation Centre reviews
58Noisy, dirty water, overpriced. Rate payers should get a discount and parents/carers who aren't swimming shouldn't have to pay a fee for just entering. The counter staff aren't friendly. BTW, low income families should get in for free so the kids can have a treat and learn to swim.
BEWARE! Staff at front desk will try to over charge you for entry, this has happened on more than one occasion. Has decent facilities but is overpriced.
Car parking is not great but the physio is awesome. Would love to be able to go the sauna but the facility just doesnt have any appeal.
Friendly staff, good facilities. My son has had swimming lessons here for the last 13 months and has been loving it. The water playground is great for kids. Yet to try the large water slide, but it looks very popular. The lap pool varies in size between 25m and 50m depending on the time of day.
Conveniently located near the Waurn Ponds shopping center, Leisurelink offers swimming lessons to all age groups. They have good instructors and their supervision is really good. We take our 3 old to the baby pool and the play area where a large bucket of water pours over from the top of the setup every 10 mins. They operate the big water sliders at day time.
Charged extra for holiday swimming lessons which swimming lessons cancelled over holidays. Not happy. Cancelled my son's swimming membership.
Really nice and clean facility, very happy with the state of the toilets.lots of lanes to swim in, no matter your swimming speed.plus I was allowed to practice snorkelling in there, so that was nice.
Great place with everything you need. Just doesn't open early enough in the mornings and pricing is way over the top if you only want to have a sauna.
Took my 10yo. $12 for a swim in the pool. An extra $8 just for him to use the water slides. And wanted to charge me another $6 to sit in the spa even tho thats all I wanted to do in the 1st place. Never coming back here
I get told off every time I come here. The lifeguards are always looking to tell you off for any minor infringement. The woman at the canteen wouldn’t take card and I didn’t have cash. My little girl started crying in front of her and she walked off. It’s a miserable unhelpful authoritarian atmosphere. Find a warmer more helpful gym/swimming pool.
Fabulous outdoor water park for my little girl. Enough space indoors for us to splash around even when there are a lot of swim school classes running.
Unpleasantly hot. Overheated. Horrendous ventilation, no escape from the 'chlorine' odour. Left with sore eyes and a sore throat. Very nice staff though, absolutely tremendous. Not their fault they're stuck in a facility designed according to no known standard of human comfort
Not a bad place, usually overcrowded. Kids that should be at arm's length from their parents that are unable to swim properly are running rampant and it's not policed. Been four times, same amount of people, same ages everytime, prices were different every time.
Extremely hot inside this complex. Almost pass out in any weather conditions. Ridiculous with no ventilation and im not the only one complaining
Has both a sauna and a steam rooms! Good price for swim, sauna and spa. Even better if u r a on pension.
Nice centre, it's a shame staff don't make sure people clean up after themselves.
From pools of sweat on benches, to bars and equipment left loaded with hundreds of kilos.
The centre really needs to get their act together.
Facilities look great. But charging me to just watch my child swim? ! You’re not a tourist attraction where you can charge people to watch.it’s a public pool! It’s disgusting to charge someone for NOT using your facilities. Perfect example of how to earn money off parents without providing any service.
