Leisurelink Aquatic & Recreation Centre reviews
58Apart from excellent facilities I really appreciate the welcoming and helpful staff at this important centre. They deserve recognition and appreciation.
Big facility with all of what u need inside
Water is abit cold here
But gym is amazing
Doesn't deserve one star
Cafe not open after Covid lockdown. Very pathetic considering there is no limit to the amount of patrons. 400m walk across the road to Shopping Centre just to get coffee. 1st and only time here.
Hamilton was really lovely! Taught me heaps about how i can improve my technique but was really nice about! Would really recommend hamilton’s classes!
Had a lovely workout in the hydro pool but would have liked to have the benefit and support of rails!
Just walked in as my physio booked me some 25 pool pass. They told him i had to walk in and organise this. Then told not to interact with them or do any payments or anything. Do it all online by email. So why do they have 3 receptionist to stare out the window and twiddle thumbs for. And to make it worst rudley interupted while talking. And they rolled there eyes at me. While explaining what there staff member told my physio. 1st impressions count. I was going to book my kids bday parties there. Will cancel that now. And would never recomend this place.
Terrible attitude of the women tonight at the door checking id. She accused my mum of not having a booking. My mum proved her booking and proceeded to enter. How dare you be so rude to an innocent person. My mum will be making a complaint. Next time you be so rude, maybe apologise when your wrong. No excuses for your attitude!
Would prefer if gym bookings could be a little bit longer but otherwise the coronavirus restrictions give me great peace of mind. Definitely recommend if you're concerned about Covid as I can't imagine a safer gym environment.
Do my Swimming training there every morning Monday to Friday, and use the very well equipped gym from time to time. Great facility.
Great clean facilities. Easy parking and access and very well priced. We visited on a late Saturday afternoon in early March and was surprised at how quiet it was. Solid waterslides with literally no line for 2+ hrs. Happy family. Recommended venue for down fun and swimming
A great center best in Geelong. Good change rooms, lots of pools. Large car park. Next to shopping center and easy access from cold road. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have many swim programs for all ages. It does get very busy but that is the nature of these centers. There is a separate fitness centre.
Pool great
Cafe terrible asked for couple of extra serviettes was looked at as if I'd asked for her wages then given one.
Amenities are good. Very Overpriced however. Especially for a family with 2 disabled people needing water therapy and 3 teenagers. Family membership prices are disgracefully expensive which allows you to use all of the leisurelink associated pools but you cannot join that one facility. We don't use any other pool because this one is literally around the corner from us. We have to buy package passes that entitles you to a certain number of visits instead. Ridiculous
My kids do lessons here. It has a cafe so I can grab a coffee while waiting at the lessons. And lockable change rooms with showers which is awesome. My youngest like the indoor water park.be good if they had outdoor area for the summer.
I would recommend coming here to use the gym facility's but they don't bolt down the equipment which is a serious accident waiting to happen
There are several pool for general swimming, fast swimming, therapy pool, swimming school pool, warm water pool with beach for toddlers and inside water playground. You need to pay extra for using mega slides, steam room, sauna and spa with fair price. Please ensure toddler is wearing the swimming pants and teaching kids to toilet in the restrooms, to keep the pool nice and clean! Many functional studio for gym and programs, quite well organised.
Brothers and Sisters of Swole.
I come to you today a changed man. The discovery of this church hast finally spared mine self of Broki's curse of 19 years. Mine arms no longer remain sickly, my resolve groweth and mine glutes shine with the breadth of a thousand suns. O, how I wish mine younger self hast seen the swole possible with but a few weekly prayers at thine church, perhaps I may hast grown a better swoledier. Alas, for now I have nary a choice but to continue praying devoutly to the All-Spotter for the greatest of gains.
Wheymen!
A busy complex that meets the requirements. Has physiotherapy operating there as well and the public library is next to it. The large Waurne Ponds shopping centre is opposite as well as other complexes within a short drive.
It looked pretty fancy & modern from my car window as I drove past, haven't been inside as I don't really have what you would call a "beach body", you're welcome everyone)
The service was great but as my daughter d o es swimming lessons it is a little unfair that when family can't make it they is no catch up days. Yet you are still charged. I daughter use to do swimming lessons in werrbee and she was given a catch up lessons. So what happens during a certain time of the month. This is out of a females control and this is not far as males do not need to worry about it. Do the pool not have a obligation to want to keep the pool clean. As parents will feel that it is to costly to keep they girls at home. And instead still send them. NOT VERY FORTHCOMING TO YOUNG GIRLS WHO JUST WANT TO CONTINUE THERE SWIMMING. NOT GOOD AT ALL
