I shifted from an ISP to Leaptel and was struggling to get the initial setup completed to connect to the internet. At some stage, i got frustrated in configuring my own router and then called up Leaptel's support to order for a modem from them. Rotney, considering the delays in getting a new router dispatched to me and also considering that i am using a wifi mesh at home, helped me out in fully configuring the wifi mesh that i had, to connect to the internet and saved me money and time. Awesome job done Rotney! Keep up the good work!
I moved into an area with Opticomm and I choose Leaptel as the provider. There has been no dramas with the internet and I have multiple devices streaming.
Good experience so far, was easy to connect using own router, speed is super fast and stable (lbnco 100). Today there were some issues in my building, called the support and had very positive experince: very polite and informative, the problem in the building was fixed quickly.
BEST all-rounder internet connection & service. They've recently upgraded my 50/20 plan to 100/20 at no extra charge (Still cheaper than the competition at 100/20) and I've only been with them for 15 months.
The best thing about this provider is they have a speed guarantee of 10%, compared with any other provider in Australia that don't have this. No throttling of the connection speed, I even get an overall connection of over 106Mbps.
Great for high speed gaming with a super low latency of 4ms

Great customer service and fast reliable internet. I was on a full throttle plan in a small residence and upgraded to the super sonic plan at the new house and had no issues with my internet at either residence or plans. Now paired up the super sonic plan with wifi 6 mesh routers and getting amazing speeds with virtually no buffering on streaming, gaming, remote working or gaming, downloads etc. Highly recommend leaptel
Insanely fast customer service, called them on a Saturday afternoon to set up my LBNCo service and it came through on SUNDAY MORNING. Support is also extremely fast, and so far, the internet has been fast and stable (unlike my previous ISP).
Been with them for multiple years, cancelled my service at the start of the month 1 day after they charged me, they refused to refund me for the remaining 29 days as I 'did not provide 30-days cancellation notice'. Who provides a cancellation notice for an internet connection? Ridiculous money grab, thankfully I've moved to Aussie Broadband and won't be looking back.
I've been with Leaptel for several years - starting with them when Opticomm was available at a new rental. Since then I've moved my service through three different rental properties (now NBN). Happy with the price, reliability and Australian support. Great communicators over the phone, via Live Chat and email (easy to open support tickets).
It's been outage from last 2 days and still not yet fixed. Fast response from the customer service centre but disappointed as don't know how to take care of customer. Never had this experience when I was with Exetel.
These guys are legends! Always keen for a chat and to find out the answer to a question even when they don't know 100% - i have them for my home and business and 1 highly recommend them!

To be fair, they are fast in response to calls, over the phone, they are nice with patient. But their response do not help your situation at all.
We spent hours on the phone, tried everything their technician told us to do, and sent an email with a setup photo attached as per their request in order for them to confirm our setup is correct. Even after their confirmation, we still don't have internet. So they called out to Opticomm, which is the provider and it's caused me 300 dollars for a very simple issue that could be easily fixed by leaptel technician over the phone in my opinion.
After all those troubles, Leaptel does not even apologize to me.
I have only been able to use their services for a few days, the speed is average.not as fast as how they claim to be.
I'm seriously considering leaving next month.
Great quality NBN. Fast and helpful service on the phone and email too. Great to deal with a local company with local staff.
Upgrade my plan from 50 mbps to 100 mbps speed because 50 mbps always gave me 15 mbps max speed. Once upgraded, the speed has gone down to 4 mbps. When called they asked me to fill a form to be sent to opticom. Leaptel has not sent the form yet. I don't see any reason to stay with Leaptel. Very disappointing service.
Have had Leaptel fibre for 3 years now and have never had any drastic issues with my 100/40 plan. Until recently when Call of duty would not work. They have stated that its an issue with Activision and have tried contacting them but that not good enough. How can other companies have no issues but leaptel and Occom do. We tried removing CGNAT, using a static ip, port forwarding but no good. I'm currently using a VPN $15 a month so I can atleast play online. YOU NEED TO SERIOUSLY FIX YOUR ROUTING ISSUES ASAP. I'm giving them 2 weeks before I change ISP's. I didn't want to but they haven't sent any emails and are just throwing the blame. It was fine 3 months ago!
Update****Leaptel fixed the routing and issue and I was able to play again. Quick turn around guys. Thanks.
Started with Leaptel LBN Plan 50/20 Mbps 20 days back and got the intermittent connectivity issues. Called the Leaptel customer care for support and the response was not professional. The support executive keep on yawning during the call and did not provide the resolution rather asked me to monitor the connection.
Tried restarting the modem couple of times but no luck.
Cannot recommend LeapTel enough! Fantastic service, quick with responding (no long wait times on the phone). Every representative that I dealt with was professional and incredibly helpful. After dealing with Exetel for 13 days (20+ hours on the phone) trying to get my internet connected to no avail. I switched providers to Leaptel and my internet was connected within 2 days. Refreshing to deal with an Aussie company that knows what they are doing. I'm so glad I made the switch!
I have been using Leaptel for close to two years with good speed and excellent service. On the rare occasion I needed further assistance, the Leaptel team were available to assist with my query. Great service and highly recommend.
