Just wanted to say the customer service has been really good from Leaptel, short time to answer the phone and they are harassing NBN on my behalf for a connection that's been dropping out.
Still not fixed yet but glad they are easy to get through to and working on the issue.

I was with leaptel at my old house and the service was fantastic, i only ever had 1 issue in almost 2 years, which was an nbn fault, the leaptel guy spent time showing me how to bypass it in my settings even though the issue would be resolved in an hour or two. When moving to my new property it was on optus, i spent almost 3 hours of my day trying to organise my log in, being put on hold and transferred to a different department. I cancelled it right away, called leaptel and was on the phone to someone within 5 minutes with my account resetup and an estimate on when i will be online which i was extremely happy with. I have never been more impressed with customer service in all my life. Leaptel makes the whole process so simple, and i will use them for the foreseeable future. I would give them 6 stars if possible

After 5 years with internode i decided to move to leaptel based on the good deal on price and referal from a friend. I was told that this process would be seemless - what could go wrong?

Loss of internet thats what!

On Sunday morning, I recieved notification from internode that they have cancelled my NBN subscription with them. Leaptel should have kicked in but didn't so contacted Leaptel who did some cursory troupleshooting and came to the conclusion it was an NBN fault and NBN would invetigate - so no intenet for Sunday.

I called up on Monday and was told that a NBN technician would need to come and investigate but could not attend until the next day - so no internet for Monday

The NBN technician came, spent 45mins and said there was no issue with the NBN connection and the issue needed to be investigated by Leaptel support

So back to Leaptel, now that they could not blame NBN decided to conduct detailed investigation - which I would have thought should have happened on the first call?

The issue was quickly identified to be due to Vlan setting being enabled - which was required for internode but needs to disabled for Leaptel!

Finally after 3days of no internet, its working.

In the post covid world with 'working from home' and 'remote learning' Internet is no longer a luxury item and is an 'essential service' same as your water electricity etc.

Would I recommend Leaptel? NO!

I've rang yous twice now and spoke to Julian both times.
I get through in less than 5 minutes and my guy Julian is an absolute LAD. Give the bloke a payrise surely!

Love this service. Highly recommend using them for your wifi. Very professional and easy to speak to. And open late if you ever have issues!

I have no issues with Leaptel. It is Opticomm that is an issue. Providers like Leaptel whose majority customers come from such fibre estates should pressurise companies like Opticomm to provide robust internet service.

Hands down the best provider for Opticomm estate run internet. Quick, efficient and excellent communication. Cannot recommend these guys enough.

Churned over to Leaptel three months ago and they have been nothing short of fantastic. They also assisted with my FTTC to FTTP upgrade which also went smoothly. Can 100% recommend Leaptel to anyone who is looking for a provider that has great after sales support, uptime and network quality.

Been with them for 6 months. Great service, no drop outs. Far better than telstra, tpg and Vodafone.
Tried all these companies. But leaptel is the best.

Really amazed how help they are. Was having some difficulty connecting to the nbn wifi. They contacted me on the weekend and guided me to connect the wifi on the phone. 5 stars.

Just switched over from Telstra and the biggest difference for me has been the customer service. Setting up my account and getting the service switched over I was kept updated with each step they were taking. What they advertise is exactly what you get and I’m already very impressed and pleased that I switched over.

Moved from aussie broadband a few months ago due to increasing frequency of ping spikes gaming perth-singapore. Fast painless transfer, no dropouts, consistent low ping. A couple of weeks ago applied for fttp from fttn. Everything went smoothly and when i contacted them to cancel my fttn connection they had already contacted nbn to cancel it. Highly recommended.

Very little issues with Leaptel, most of which were opticomm issues rather than Leap. Fantastic customer service, I have never waited more than 5 minutes. Highly recommended service

Leaptel is an exceptional ISP to deal with. I live at an address that only has Opticomm service, which has been unreliable at times (not Leaptel's fault). Every time there's been an issue, Leaptel have communicated quickly and transparently, and frequently follow up Opticomm to ensure that they're working on resolving the fault. My neighbours who are also with Opticomm, but are with other ISPs have not had the same great experience. Regardless of whether you're with Opticomm or NBN, I highly recommend Leaptel as an Australian ISP with outstanding customer service.

Have been with Leaptel for about 4+ years now and have always had great customer service from all the staff when resolving issues, or just general enquiries. Prices are competitive and it's such a bonus that it's local (Melbourne).

Payed the connection charges and was promised to be connected within couple of hours but its been 30 hours and still no notifications no connection! No technical support after business hours, feels like living in deserted place!
