It is just a nice place to visit on a cool day. Strolling around trees and lavender fields is a nice excursion. The cafe located in the garden is the highlight where one can even taste lavender icecream.

I visited during the lavender season this January and absolutely love it! Just for a very small fee we can enjoy the whole garden&farm. It’s so beautiful and picturesque. The moment we step on the field, the smell is so good and soothing. A cafe and toilets are available. Very well maintained. The staffs are wonderful and friendly.
As expected a lot of bees around during this lavender season but it’s not an issue for me.
The access to the farm is through a bridge that can only fit one way, so better be careful with upcoming cars from the other way.
Parking area is big and could be busy near lunch time. Better come in the morning.

Although we visited on a very rainy day, we had a great time. I cannot wait to go back for a picnic when it's not raining. A great little visit if you have little kids too and want a little space for them to run around safely but freely:)

I think would be a nice place for picnic if you come around Lavandar session. (We came in April, so there are still some there but not as many as early of the year)
The store that selling Lavandar products are reasonable and the entry price is $10 per adult which is reasonable as well.
There is a Cafe with food offering inside.

An absolute delight. Lovely staff, food, and a photographer's paradise. Not just a functioning lavender farm, but a real trip back in time.

It's an absolutely amazing place, a bit of a paradise in our busy world. So relaxing and beautiful. We also were very grateful to the people who work there. My husband left his volet in the restaurant farm and when we called next day, we were almost sure that no one will return the volet. But it was there! The restaurant manager was trying to find us via Facebook.so great to realise that there honest, genuine and kind people still exist! Love you and will come again to your beautiful place again!

The cafe service was disappointing. It was a hot day & we had to stand in line for ages with no menu available and a poorly organised setup. The guy on the till had very little knowledge of what was available. Staff need proper barista training as the coffee tasted terrible.felt sorry for the staff as they were under the pump with very little support from management by the look of it. We didn't try the food as thought it would take way too long.
Also, not sure why we were asked for our Vax certificate when it's an outdoor venue.

This place is nice but the cafe is so incredibly slow on Sunday. Unclear if this is normal here but people were waiting for an hour or more for food. People even got given refunds and went home annoyed.

My tip would be to order food as soon as you arrive then look around for as least as long as whatever estimate they say it is. Then you can leave after eating. However, because their ordering system is by table number it might be confusing if someone else takes your table whilst you’re away.

The indoor seating is less busy than the outdoor seating.

Given the $5 entry per person, I expected to see more. Don't get me wrong the scenery was lovely but it is free all over the rest of Hepburn Springs. Nonetheless it was a pleasant place to walk around. A shame the Cafe was closed as that looked amazing.

The most wonderful day! The most magical place with a beautiful atmosphere. A photographer's paradise! Must have the scones and the Lavender ice-cream! The gift shop is brilliant! Lovely people. Will be back soon. 100 gold stars? ️

Interesting with all the lavenders but a bit of a tourist trap. Which is understandable, a farm always needs income. 5$ entrance fee (maybe even to enter the shop?). Cafe served generously but no prices on menu except for the lavender scones and ice-cream. Tried/shared the pasta with salami (very good), lavender soda (flavour a bit like soap + lemonade), lavender scones (good huge fluffy ones) and lavender ice-cream (ok, flavour mild and not so "soapy"). Cow, sheep, emu and alpacas to feed for the kids. Would probably not have gone there by own choice, this trip due to family business.

What a lovely rustic and spacious farm! Well worth the trip and entrance free. It's beautifully kept and has so many little surprise pockets where you can get away from the crowd. We didn't try anything at the cafe, but the reviews look good. We would have loved to bring a picnic basket and passed lazed around for the afternoon. So glad they are dog friendly too!
We loved exploring the old cottages and wagons.

After many years of visiting Daylesford in winter months we finally stayed in summer and were able to visit the Lavandula Farm on 22/2- all I can say is what a disappointment after years of built up expectations. The cafe was very limited and overpriced- we had x2 croissants that looked supermarket quality and x2 cans soft drink for cost of $27! Also quite a few items on the menu weren’t available. The service at cafe was poor with staff looking disinterested. I wish we had bought our own food and had a picnic as suggested on the website. The place wasn’t even that busy. The staff didn’t bother to check that you were double vaccinated either!
The positives were the lovely grounds - gardens and the friendly animals which our young daughter enjoyed. It was worth paying $5 entry for that alone.
Having said that I won’t be returning next time I’m in the Daylesford area.

We had such a great day and all the staff were very nice. You can spend your time walking around the farm, seeing the lavender, the animals and the scenery. We also enjoyed lavender scones and a baguette with coffee for breakfast at the restaurant which was so nice inside. Before leaving we had a lavender ice cream sitting in the nice outdoor area enjoying the scenery and ended up buying a bunch of fresh lavender to take home, which was really nicely priced. Will definitely come back!

Good lavender farm. Beautiful to visit in the season when lavender in full bloom. Food in the restaurant at farm can be improved. They have lavender scones, not sure how I feel about that!

I am someone who has claimed many times not to be a fan of lavender and yet I adored my visit to the Lavandula farm. It is a beautiful place to visit with rolling hills, gardens and historic buildings. The charcuterie board at the cafe had a fantastic selection of cheese/meat and I will admit I enjoyed a lavender champagne. Maybe I’m converted.

Awesome place to spend a day with your loved ones and dogs. Very beautiful and relaxing. Love the cafe which offers delicious food and all the Lavender products are amazing. Hand cream is something one should definitely consider buying.

Lots of seating and shade at this tranquil place. Good service, loved the animals and hand made lavender goods at the store. Nature lovers delight.
