Lala's Kitchen Bentleigh

We had all our daughter's first birthday at Lala's Kitchen. Absolutely recommend, everything was great right from service to food to cleanliness. Definitely a one stop shop to host an event in south east, they were very flexible to our requirements. Going back again. Kudos to Sweta and team at Lala's kitchen.

We went for Chat All you can eat session.
Panipuri — Excellent
Bao Bun Vada — Please never make this again. Normal Vadapav are much better than this.
Sev Khamani — ok.
Customer service— ok.
Tortillas — Nothing special.
Raj Kachori — Extremely Chewy

Too crowded for staff to handle.

Overall all value for money — you don’t get it.

Giving 1 star for very nice Panipuri but not good for all you can eat dinner and waste of money. Not suitable food is kids special even when we pay $11 for kids.

Well please call well ahead before turning up! Even if you book ahead. Check if they have a party booked at this place. Even if they don't book for entire restaurant, the environment was unbearable! Loud music, partying people went crazy! We heard that the place serves good vegetarian Indian food. So made a pre booking before coming in. We couldn't even order our main course as we couldn't hear each other. Had to leave. Can't comment on the food as noise pollution was hampering taste buds! We came all the way from city for this

Wow! How could they even accept booking! They rented out the place to some crazy dudes and accepted our booking. We had to leave in between our serve. The party people were so loud. The person serving us said that they only booked 50 %. The restaurant is listed as fine dining. Well I won’t even call it a decent place at all based on the experience we had!

Amazing Food, Great Hospitality.
We were a group of about 14 people, went in for their Sunday unlimited Buffet. The food was amazing with the best hospitality in Melbourne. Shweta and her team were top notch when it came to service. Love the food, love the people, would definitely come back and recommend to more people.

I had my 50th Birthday Celebration at Lala's Kitchen Yesterday. Food was delicious and & services provided was amazing. Shweta is very accommodative.

This is an incredible venue. My pal Matthew and I attend attend at least once a month and are always more than satisfied with the food served. The customer service is amazing and we continue to feel loved and appreciated every time we come in. There are not many other venues I’d recommend ahead of this one.

Great place for indian food. Loved the food and service provided by the staff. Best for indian vegetarian food.

Ventured here from Kew and im glad to say the journey was worthwhile. The staff were really helpful in explaining dishes and were attentive. The food itself was excellent, really enjoyed the chats and my paneer main! Highly recommend.

I saw the owner buying jalebi Taste of Taj Clayton though the jalebi was not enough he brought 5kg from there and rest from quality Indian Store Clayton.
World is very small buying from Clayton and selling in bentleigh.

I organised two functions at Lala's Kitchen and I must say' I didn't regret. ' I had a wonderful experience. Swetaben and their staff took care of my guests really very well. I found their staff supportive and friendly throughout the event. I would also like to recommend their butter milk, Mango delite, Kaju curry and tantalising pani Puri. If you are looking for gujarati catering in Melbourne, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lala's kitchen.

One of the best Indian restaurant with fabulous service and amazing food. Catering service is really great. Hope to see you soon.

Food was incredible! Dhai sev puri was so good. Really surpassed my expectations. Staff were attentive and friendly. Will be back!

The amount of money Indian restaurants pay their staff, I couldn't care less if they all run out of money and shut down due to Lockdowns.
BTW I am an indian and telling from experience, so can't pull the race car with me.

I recently had catering services for my son's first birthday party from lala's kitchen.
Was very much satisfied.
Food was amazing, everything was fresh and guests simply loved the food.
They have really good options to select from.
Shweta is very friendly person to.communicate with, she gave me good ideas and explained everything in detail.
They made sure guests taste everything and explained all the issue sit the guests.

Highly recommended.

Staff were nice and friendly but the food was very disappointing. The curry that was for a child was supposed to be mild but was very spicy and the butter chicken was bland and boring. A lot of sauce and not much meat or anything else in there. Very overpriced food. My first visit and I won’t be returning.

So far I had referred so many people to Lala’s Kitchen but We had our first function on 21st October and we received top class service from staff, also our guests fro WA, NSW and obviously from Melbourne was keep telling us that food was so delicious.

Not recommending to others, I have been for unlimited food with my group on 25 Aug. They don’t make enough food, but they keep hiding in kitchen and don’t even anyone come to ask if we need anything.
Once you order they come after 20 minuets of interval, so you get bored and leave the table.
Even prior booking was made before 2 days. It's not my personal view, its my whole group review.sorry but that's true.

I haven't been to this restaurant but reading these reviews and reply from the owner I have no hope of getting service to him actively trying to accept any of business / Staff fault. Reality is people go out to eat for quality food and service. I love Indian food but these reviews have put me off. Sorry I don't feel ill be welcomed here! Good luck with it all.
