La Porchetta Ballarat reviews
70The staff are very friendly and helpful. They are very efficient in their job. And the black tiger prawn pizza was delicious. Plus the cappuccino was nice and hot
Best place to eat in ballarat. Very delicious food and atmosphere. Best pizza and pasta in town. Authentic Italian taste.
I have had La Porchetta Ballarat Take away a few times now. Obviously not going to get 5 star Italian food here, but have staff decent and it seems to fall into line with all other La Porchetta restaurants. Never had any issues.
We came here, after a long and tiring day, because we knew that you could rely on the food from La Porchetta to be tasty and something that just hits the spot. We were not disappointed!
Good food. Reasonable prices. Ordering online is pretty easy to do which helps beating the queue
Booked a dinner reservation, called up to make sure it was still a go due to power outages in the area. The girl was bluntly rude on the phone and said it was all good for us to come in.
My partner and I arrived to a temporary closed restaurant due to power outage that had been resolved, had to rebook another place in a hurry.
Would have been better if the girl took our enquiry seriously and double checked
The sooner that awful owner and her husband sell that place the sooner I'll eat at La Porchetta Ballarat again. The woman is especially ab##ive to the employees.
Didn't eat there because my 96 year old mother did not have photo ID. They were right to request it, but were very inflexible, even though she is a local (Not from Melb). My mother became quite upset.
Wow, what a difference between different days.usually top service and great food. WHAT THE F. HAPPENED.your a disgrace to the La Porchetta name.im embarrassed for you. Don't ever. I mean ever go or order from the Ballarat store ever again.
This place is large and spacious with a range of Pizza, pasta and other favorites. By no means the best food in Ballarat, but it is fine, inexpensive and generous portion sizes. They have take away options and deliveries via Menulog
Been eating here for 20+ years regularly.my last visit was a couple of months ago and I'll never ever return.after waiting 40+ minutes with my kids in store after an already 20 minute wait before entering the restaurant, I was met with average food.upon arriving home I realised there was absolutely no parmesan on my pasta (which I paid extra for). When I called I was told that I was ' wrong' and that if I didn't return it that evening I would instead be credited parmesan on my next order.
2 weeks or so later I called to place a pick up order with my 'credited parmesan'. I was told I could pay for my new parmesan as I had LIED last time.for the sake of $3 parmesan, they have now lost a loyal customer
Garlic bread was superb, however the chicken was seasoned poorly and bland, drink was good though.
I would come back however I don't recommend the chicken range
Not bad but not the most amazing Italian food you'll ever eat. Big servings so if you're more off a quantity over quality sort of person then you'd like it. They have kids meal that are very good value too.
Stick with the pasta at this franchise. Fish tasted old with a bad dry texture. Staff not the best I've come across.
Service was exceptional. Kids were very happy and full of spaghetti Bolognese. The tiramisu was huge. Definitely one for sharing.
La porchetta is a favourite of the kids. So when we travel we will usually have 1 dinner at the local. The ballarat store has service second to none. The staff at the ballarat store are the best staff we have come across. The food is what we expect from La porchetta. The kids love it. And the kids just want to give you a big thumbs up.
Thanks
Absolutely Enjoyed my Pizza. Yum. Huge I didn't realize they were so big.
Certainly be going back for another. Staff were good.
I have been a La Porchetta customer for thirty years but never again. The last two takeaway orders where like dog food. You've lost me and my family for good.
If I could give this place no stars I would upon entering this place I noticed an employee picking their nose and eating it absolutely revolting Declined to stay for a meal real shame as it use to be quite good
I would never buy Lasagne from La Porchetta Ballarat Central, ever again, I was looking forward to a real home made fresh Lasagne not what I can buy from Coles or Woolworths, which is what it tasted like. Then you have the guts to charge me full price $22.00. When you buy from an Italian Restaurant you expect the best. In fact I would never buy Lasagne from any La Porchetta ever again. Very Disappointed!
