La Porchetta Ballarat reviews
70The most consistent pizza and pasta joint ever. When I’m Ballarat it is a must stop for us. Highly recommended!
Amazing food great services from the waitresses kid friendly restaurant the food portion size is large and they always offer a container /box if you can’t finish your meal
Classic pizza from a classic franchise. Great service, family friendly, the take away is good too.
Over priced food that you could get frozen pizzas at safeway and they would be better also the pasta was over cooked with no taste or flavour very poor ovisly just living of the la porcheta name
Didn't like how I supplied my own cake. Then they wanna charge $1 a head per person to cut the cake. I think it's abit rude when I've always had my kid's birthday their and was never charged. I really think the restaurant has gone down hill the meal that I ordered wasn't the right meal that I asked for. Very disappointed
The server was very nice however the older staff very rude and felt rushed, and the food was very plain.
Food has gone so downhill.several times our take away orders have been wrong and they get mad at us when we ask for it to be fixed or they simply refuse to do anything it it.staff are alwasy rude or short with customers and they also tried charging my family $1 per person for us to eat and share cookies we bought to celebrate a family members birthday (I should note we didn't ask them to do anything with the cookies, no cultlery was needed but they refused to let us bring them in unless we paid them money, ridiculous). No where on their signage or website does it say they charge a fee for having your own food brought in as well so we just had to trust their word that it was a part of their policy. Just another money hungry business who skimp out on quality.so disappointed in how downhill this place has gone.
My 23 son was knocked back on a drink because of no ID. I mean really. Food was average Has lost its appeal won't be back
I went there to get my takeaway today. An old lady on the counter was behaving like i was there to get free food. The food was very nice otherwise.
Went here tonight with Hubby and 3 kids. One of the best La Porchetta's we have dined in. We are from the Mornington Peninsula and we were so impressed by the friendliness, speed and quality of food. We've never been given free bread rolls at a la porchetta before, the little things make all the difference. We will definitely be back next time we are here!
I went to La Porchetta for my birthday and I had the vegetarian pizza and within an hour I was vomiting. And some others with me also had stomach issues from the food
The older lady who serves at the counter is very rude (I think she is the manager or owner). There are lots of other reviews about this same person and her poor customer service.
I used to be a regular and always left tips but she has given attitude a couple of times now and I will not be going back there anymore.
I am only giving two stars because the pizzas are good.
Went for lunch with family today. Had the worst pasta I've ever eaten. Creamy mushroom and napoli pasta. Thought putting salt and parmesean cheese may help, it didn't. Bland and pasta overcooked. $25 each. Disgrace serving food like that to people. Never again.
The food was horrible, the kids spaghetti tasted watery and the lasagna was just all sauce. The seafood platter wasn’t much better with watery fish, room temperature calamari and flavour less prawns.
The ice cream was amazing and the service was fantastic.
Love their pizzas, everytime I go to ballarat I get a large 1, half to eat in and half for lunch the next day.
We dined with you last night and I gotta say the food was as amazing as I remember.
We had Sarah wait on us and she just made our night with her bubbly personality and friendly attitude, some of our meals took a little longer than the rest not that we noticed too greatly to be honest but Sarah was so apologetic and came back to check in to see if it was worth the wait and just made the whole situation quite funny. Thankyou Sarah
It was pouring rain and cold windy day outside, they told me to eat outside in the rain or pay extra charges to eat inside, my first visit and will be the last, the restaurant was nearly empty of customers at the time, so they had plenty of spaces inside.
Love, love, love this place! The food is absolutely delicious, the staff are super friendly and attentive without being overly so, and the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. Great place for a leisurely meal. To quote a famous actor "I'll be back"!
Terrible phone manners.rude, short with me then hung up. Had to ring back to speak with someone else to get the order right. It's probably only one staff member because the second person was nice and polite but I almost cancelled the order.
I made the mistake of not ordering pizza or pasta. Their other menu items clearly aren't their speciality. Great service though!
