Korean BBQ Restaurant reviews
55 I love korean food and So far this is worse one we have been I won't go there and won't recommend to anyone.
Korean bbq is all you can eat. However they told us all food is limited, no vegi just 2 piece of carrot, 1 small pieces of Salad.
Moreover my 4 year old son eat nothing, but they ask us to pay $30 extra. We didn't get agreed. Later my wife ask for soup as per their menu, the replied you pay extra $30 for your son or no soup. That shoking for $5 soup they are asking $30.
Well some restaurants doesn't know the value of customers. PLEASE everyone void this place.
Korean bbq in glen waverly or in swanton Street are best. But please avoid this place. 0 star.
Oh my god, where to start. From beginning to finish, everything was amazing. Service is so great. Foood, mouth watering and so delicious. 10 out of 10. Definitely recommend.
Getting a table booked is nearly impossible, if you wanna book a table for tonight you have to call up at 5pm, if you call earlier than 5 your call will be redirected to a rude lady who only told you to call at 5. If you show up straight way the restaurant is probably full and the staff will ask if you booking. WTH then I could only book a few days ahead and only call after 5pm. Not gonna have a dinner there.
One of the best KBBQ restaurants you'll find in Carnegie. The setting is quite standard and the prices on their menu are reasonable. The staff there are really friendly and helpful. They'll help you cut and grill the meat if you find it hard. Parking in front and around the shop is very limited, be prepared to walk the distance. Highly recommended.
They need more tables to be able to join together cos I went with a group of 8 and they said that we had to be split sitting on 2 tables. They also did not offer us the all you can eat buffet but we found out in the end that there was a buffet which was a let down. But pork was AH- MAZING! The food there in general wasn't too bad at all. Yummmy
They definitely need to improve their service. The waiter was friendly but the waitress was basically providing no service, looked unhappy all the time.
You got only one chance to ask to clean/replace the bbq plate if it is burned. After that they refuse to change and you have to finish the meat before you go.
Really bad experience.
Had the Gourmet Buffet Bbq. Good food and service but watch out, I was charged $20 for extra drinks i did not have. It was only after I queried the bill, did they apologize and remove the $20. Seriously? Very disappointing as everything else was good. From the body language of the person when I queried the bill, they knew exactly what they were doing. So will not be back.
Very affordable and you will get heaps of food. The taste is good, but not the best. Good value for money, but you won't get the best quality of meat. Another downside of the place was waiting for our ice cream for almost 30 mins. We asked the waitress for the ice cream twice, but she kept on forgetting it and decided to serve other customers. So we asked another staff to give it to us, and finally it arrived. This place can improve on their service. But other than that, we will surely come back.
I have nothing good to say but Bad service, bad food, take your money somewhere else. If your after korean BBQ and wouldn't mind travelling to the city there's a lot to choose from. Otherwise a few minutes walk on the same street to Kimchi Grandma if you want to eat korean food is a better experience in my opinion. Not to mention they also charge 20 cents for each take away containers if you want to bring any left over
The buffet is delicious and the side dishes were great. The only slight disappointment is the quality of the meat as some of it is frozen. However the seasoning of the meat was good. The range of desserts is limited, but you don't go to Korean barbeque to eat desserts. The fruit platter isn't worth it. All in all I would return.
The menu shows a buffet but when ordered it wasn’t really a buffet, and also the menu says it would come with ice cream but didn’t give us
Lovely atmosphere and delicious food. Our waiter, Yuna, was very professional and super helpful. Thank you so much, Yuna. We will definitely be back again
When I had my dinner with friends at Korean BBQ, we know that the reviews which are complaining about the service are true. Even with her mask on, we can see that there was no smile from the server, but to be fair, despite that there’s no smile, she is still helpful. The Korean/Chinese lady is friendly and helpful. The brisket beef is good, and my fave is the seafood and tofu soup. Will definitely come again on another day!
BBQ beef, beer, and butane! We opted for their beef buffet option that feeds two people and almost as soon as we ordered, food started arriving at the table. Friendly staff, however, we felt the food was unnecessarily rushed and some of the meat was very chewy.
I really dont like it when staff prerend not to see when you are calling for their attention. Its pretty obvious.
The unlimited Kimchi tastes good and the hotplates come sizzling.the place is better than shown in the photos, eat well here.
Wish I could give a 0 star, apalling customer service. HORRIBLE. The employees there all looked so lifeless and give attitude whenever we want something. We werent finished ordering and she kept wanting to walk away? Their uniforms say ‘smile’ but all of them are stone faced and dont smile. Oh the irony. Stay away from this place. The restaurant is tiny and poorly lit as well. When I asked to change the hot plate, she said she couldnt do it? The hot plate was full of burnt meat. There are much better places than this restaurant.
Use to be good once new ownership has taken over. Quality of food and service has dropped way down.
The food was okay but the customer service was so horrific! They didn’t smile at us at all when we were entered into the restaurant and ordering food. They’re acting like we are begging for food. We will NEVER RETURN again!
