44The staff named Juliet-Ann was really rude and she was not helpful at all. Really disappointed when I have something urgent and she wouldn't even care to help me at all.
Kmart. Inside CBD. Bargains, good quality. Huge store for city location. Great food surrounds it. I there 4 times a month for everything cheap
Good enough, having two different areas of registers to pay with makes things less of a hassle, not too busy during the day time and there are lots of staff around to help you if you need.
I've lived in melbourne all my life (43 years) and I've seen the multiple guise this building has undergone as well. From the 1980's Coles New World, from 1993 to 2020 Target etc. And now post 2021 Kmart! As you can see that's over 3 decades here. I can't decide if I like it or not, I mean when Target took over from Coles New World in the mid 90's it felt fresh until 15 years ago where it felt dead, stale and lifeless. Kmart feels abit bigger but I wish they'd changed and went for a complete store renovation here as it still feels like Target with where the escalators are. Atleast the original Coles New World lifts are still there and nothing can ever beat the original 1980's store style but Kmart are trying but I just wish they went for a complete store layout renovation here to make the experience feel fresh I guess. Perhaps there was a lack of funds on the franchise to knock it all down and build something new? ! Maybe they'll still do something later? ! Target felt dull but Kmart still feels meh too but atleast they may still have time to do something better instore as well. To me the 1980's Coles New World store layout in this building will always be my favourite (don't believe me? ! Google and find out how warm and epic it once was via the 80's guise via pictures!) but Kmart still has time here! Time to remove the dullness of the old Target! Pending if I still like it our not but I know what timeline guise I'd rather shop in cheers.
