47 Today I went to manor lakes kmart to return the mug paint set, I took 32 pieces and 2 were broken, I checked after coming to parking, and I thought I should return it later as I was in hurry, today I went to return them, but the staff at service desk were so RUDE and saying that I broke the pieces and taped with the normal tape, kmart tape is round tape and the tape for the return items looks like normal tape, but all the 30 pieces which I have at home has normal tape, this is completely false statement, they were talking like I was lying to them, I'm not that kind of person, so disappointed with KMART Manor lakes, I used to love kmart, I do so much shopping from kmart. But now I'm very much disappointed.
Please when anyone wants to return something just say we don't have returns on this item instead saying depressing words to customers.
Had a bad and bitter experience with a woman named Ro here. She seems to be hell bent on making peoples lives as miserable as hers. I’m not sure what’s happening for her at home or who instilled racism in her DNA but Kmart would be made aware that she is extremely rude, disgruntled, racist and lazy who doesn’t want to help anyone out. This is the 2nd occasion she doesn’t want to put anything on hold or help others.
What with Kmart stores, you go there to buy ladies tank you got your t-shirts and tank top all mixed up nothing is in order how are customers supposed to find anything
I purchased online and selected the time for click and collect at 4: 40pm. I exactly went on time but staff told me the order is not ready, I seriously disappointed as I was already late for my work. And they still suggesting me to come on next day and don’t have respect and value for someone else time and travel cost.
I asked for refund and changed my daily shopping priority from KMART to BIGW.
Never come again. I know it doesn’t make sense because it has already build the brand and that’s why they are very careless about customer service. If this things keep on happening then many business has already died even the big brand so KMART can also be vanish very soon.
My experience with Kmart staff was to bad today. I went manor lakes kmart to return 2 umbrellas which I bought 2 days earlier, one of them was already broken, the quality was too cheap. Instead of looking for customers needs the staff have been investigating like I have done something wrong to ask them to give me refund. They make me feel embarrassed as I used them and then return it back. I haven’t even kept the receipt because it wasn’t my attention to return it back but I had the transaction history from my bank. The manager was not interested to see my bank transaction as she has been more interested to blame me as I broke that umbrella or used it. She was threatening me about she is going to check the cameras, she doesn’t have sense to talk to customer. So now I am requesting to the management to check cameras and find out and stop blaming the genuine customers.
At around 3: 40pm on Wednesday August 30th, 2023, there were no customers at either the regular cashier or the self-checkout cashier. As a result, I approached a young woman who was covering her head stationed at the cashier and requested assistance.
Instead of providing a helpful response, she grumpily retorted, "I CAN'T DO THIS, " and continued to stand around idly. It seemed as if she was averse to any action, resembling a bump on a log. Her behavior could be considered an example of wage theft.
In this particular store, is the use of self-checkout mandatory for all customers? I have never encountered a situation like this at any cashier in any shop before. While I would understand if she were preoccupied with tasks, her demeanor indicated otherwise—just standing around without any apparent purpose.
Kmart Manor Lake is my preferred store due to the generally friendly and excellent service provided by most of the staff. However, this employee stands out negatively, displaying rudeness and a lack of proficiency in delivering standard customer service.
I would like to address this worker:
"Don't undermine the efforts of your colleagues and manager with your lazy work attitude. Did you treat male customers the same way? I know you assumed I am a quiet female customer who wouldn't voice any complaints. Don't alter your attitude based on the individual and take the opportunity to learn what customer service truly means. "
I bought a pair of kids pants, but had to exchange them the next day because they were a very small size 10. I still had the tag (not attached to the product) and the receipt & took them back to the Manor Lakes store to exchange or refund them. I was told by the customer service person that we couldn't bring them back without the tag attached to the product. We asked to speak to a Manager, who came out and told us (quite rudely) that it is in Kmarts policy that we had to have the tag actually attached to the product for an exchange or refund. This is not written in the policy notices in the store. We said we could just get a tagging gun or some tape and attach the tags ourselves, and the Manager said (rudely again) that if we wanted to do that we should 'go for it' and walked away. So we went and attached the tag and took them back. The customer service person accused us of going and swapping the pants with another pair, which we DID NOT, she then rolled her eyes and refunded the money.
You need to teach your staff the policies of the store, and how to treat customers respectfully.
I came in to return 2x hairdye I found out I could not use due to darker hair, didn't have receipt. Was accused of stealing $11 hair dye & they "checked the cameras" Then I was told I could not return them as they are cosmetics (packets unopened) just shocking customer service overall, discretion advised.
This place is great but last night I went there and payed for my stuff and put in 15 dollars and some thing happened and then the lady when she came to fix the machine and only 5 dollars came out and it was like she thought I was lying so then my aunties had to pay for my things so Kmart you need to give my money back!
PLEASE PUT TROLLEYS IN YOUR SHOP. Those tiny plastic wheeley baskets are good for nothing. Surely you understand that people buy large items and in large quantities. How is someone suppose to pick up large items and carry them around? It’s such a shame that a well maintained, neat and fully stocked store gets a 1 star rating for something so simple to maintain.
I can't believe Kmart won't give me a refund on a top I bought, it was too big only because I pulled off the tag before I tried it on. Not good enough reason
Why in earth don’t you fix the trolley wipe dispenser at the entrance?

Worst service I have ever received. I asked an older lady at service desk to assist me with putting some items through as I had hurt my shoulder and she snapped at me and told me I need to leave. I wasn’t being rude at all. Very uncalled for, I did not deserve to be treated like that. It has never been an issue for me to put items through at service desk especially since I struggle doing it myself and you only have the self serves available. I should add that there were no customers around and it wasn’t busy. I think there needs to be training on how to treat customers with kindness because I was already having a bad day and this has made it so much worse.

Me at front of the store that ur order is not ready then I saw her my confirmation massage.then she said wait in new car park somebody come n give u parcel. I waisted almost 10 min no one came.again I went there they said they got many pick up order so they are busy in collecting. I went in my car back after 15 min of wait 2 staff members came with 2 full trolley of orders.i asked where is my order she said she got 5 trolly so it’s coming in next lot.after waiting for another 10 min I finally got my order.
Terrible click and collect service! No answer on number provided or land line! If you guys too busy then make appointment collecting time, don't let people waiting outside not knowing if they are taking the orders or not! Very terrible
Terrible click and collect. Got text saying it is ready, got to the click and collect area at 10: 30, called the number. Gave rego number and name. Was told it will be a few mins, fair enough. 35 mins later, nothing. Then staff asked my order number. I gave it, then they told me Naomi had wrote the number down wrong. Order came out, so took 45 mins to click and collect. If you can't handle the workload, get more staff. What do your workers do now, just fill click and collect. Not like you have customers in your closed store.
This has nothing to do with Covid at all, it is staff who doesn't know basic numbers. 2nd time I have had issues with this Kmart. Nabil, lift your staff's game dude. Look forward to your reply
Nomally at home I m using 63XL ink and it can be last for half year, cause not using must. But I bought 63 XL ink on Manor Lakes kmart at 020820, and I start use it on today 110820 and the printer show me 1 level of ink? Due to the close down I m not be able solve the problem at store.
Hi kmart management team,
I have just tried to exchange a faulty 2400W bagless vacuum at this store, purchased start of April 2020 and was told by both staff and the assistant store manager, due to me not having my receipt I was not eligible for an exchange. Your item clearly stated 12 month replacement warranty on its base, your return policy states faulty items will be replaced or fixed.
My partner ordered this online so I did manage to produce the receipt but then I was informed this refund must be put directly into our account in 5 days. I was physically at the store with the physical item. Is this a joke?
This experience was disgraceful and you have lost my business. I used to work for your company, this is not care for your customers.
Staff at the service where we get returns and refunds they are very rude and no professionalism. I was waiting to be served and the lady standing infront of me talking politely to the staff and the staff told her don’t yell. I was surprised how rude and disrespectful they treat customers. I even could not get the help very unhappy.check outs staff are very friendly and kind. Werribee Kmart is way better than
Exiting the store is like going on trial for murder. Have a receipt and everything ready to be inspected but then you spend 5 mins emptying everything out of your shopping bag.
