Kmart Chadstone

Good product range with affordable price. It's quite difficult to get help as it's always busy. The fit rooms aren't always neat which is very sad

Tried to contact kmart via phone on 3 occasions during opening hours. Waited 10-15mins each time but nobody picks up. Perhaps kmart staff have been trained to ignore all incoming calls?

I love this Kmart! Everytime I visit here I have made purchases. It must be a Kmart thing but most popular items I have had luck here. I hope this store keeps staying strong

Always found what I need and their home brand works as well as any brand name, prices are also very affordable.

Prices always marked wrong. Complained to head office and no one ever got back to me. Service is non existent and always messy!

To add I would like to express my experience at my recent visit here. I went to pick up a click and collect order from the service counter and on the way there picked up some clothes for a child I was looking after who’s mum was admitted into hospital. When served by Kat she advised that my order was cancelled- I was not notified by email. I accepted this and asked if I would be refunded she said yes. As we are having this conversation I was placing the items of clothing I wanted to purchase. Not only have they put things through in the past it waa NEVER an issue. She then points at the are of the other registers and tells me I need to go there. I’m like excuse me? (mind you there was NO one waiting to be served) I said it’s never been an issue and she proceeds to tell me despite my order being cancelled and not being notified, standing with two kids- she says “ oh fine I’ll do it” ITS YOUR JOB!

The week before the announcement of the lockdown- mind you I am still waiting on the manager Wayne to call me as there was NO follow up to this incident where there was NO one at the registers. Two people minding the self services. I asked for assistance to put the items through and the young girl ROLLED her eyes at me! What is this?

It was great to shop there again after 12 months, meeting the staff that I know, who are very friendly. I will be back.

This store does nothing for me unless u have a large budget this is not for you even found the cafes and food court prices way too high

Horrible staff!
After we spent half hour looking for the items we look for, we approached the staff who were stand there chatting for last 15mins there ask for help/assist for the item. Been told the item should be in the section we were checking, we just have to check ourself, nothing she can do.

Kmart at chadstone have some great deals. If you go on the right day, you can get clothes as low as $1. They have some great bargains. The only fault I find is the location of the checkout but it's minor compared to the items and prices they stock.

Horrible Staff! I went to buy a water bottle shown in the pic that was on Sale for $5. When I took it to the counter, it scanned at $10. When I told that you have an big Yellow tag with $5 printed on it. The counter girl sent a message on the phone to another staff. When I took a staff to the shelf, the sticker was gone. Happened this evening at KMART Chadstone.
This is bad and misleading. I never expected KMART to be such unethical.

Some staff seem to lack knowledge of store layout and stock. Not to mention some seem to walk around like husks on humans trying to hide time to make the hours go by.

The store was not as nice as the ones I'm use to. The stock was very small with no variety. See fountain gate, Cranbourne, Wonthaggi. They are better store's.

Your Click and Collect proceedure at the Chadstone store is an ill thought out mess. Someone needs to have a think about the customer experience with what should be a really simple process. A heap of customers just as angry as me today. No clear instructions of what to do when we get to Chadstone + an app that doesn't work properly + general staff apathy + customer directional signage that is generally non-existant / meaningless = 1 star review.

Clearly they don't know their company's Click and Collect policy. Online asks if you want to go instore or front of store. No matter what you select, you have to walk right through the store to the service desk. Thought Click and Collect was to limit social contact during covid?

The majority of the staff who work at this store are lovely, however the shift managers are extremely rude and intimidating. I spend at least $10K at Kmart stores annually and have been disappointed with the Chadstone store managers attitude and unwillingness to ‘go the extra mile’ (or centimetre for that account) for the customer. For example, l recently visited the Chadstone Store and it was getting close to the store closing time of 10pm (another frustratingly early closure, although not sure if that’s due to the shopping centres restrictions). As I only wanted to purchase two items and knew their location in the store and had 15 minutes to shop (or so l thought) l believed l has ample time to complete these purchases. I entered the store and was greeted by a lovely young man who informed me very politely that the store would be closing in 15 minutes, l thanked him and told him that I would be very quick. I moved to back of the store and located the items l needed and was just about to start heading to the check out registers when an overwhelmingly loud announcement came through over the PA system through a speaker in the stores roof. It was extremely loud and intrusive. During this announcement of the stores impending closure time a female staff member stuck her head around the end of the aisle that I was in and started barking at me over the top of the PA announcement that the store was closing and l would have to leave. I couldn’t believe that she was actually yelling the exact same thing at me that l was already being told at full volume by the woman on the PA system. I told her that l was aware of the time and was heading to the registers now to purchase the two items, she rolled her eyes at me and disappeared hurriedly towards the front of the store. I continued to walk to the registers but was stopped shortly by the same female staff member who had brought two male staff members with her. The three of them surrounded me and all started talking at once telling me that the store was now closed (it was 9.55pm according to m Apple iPhone) and that l would have to leave immediately. I started to explain my position and the female staff member started talking loudly at me over the top of me. I asked her if l would be able to speak please and she told me that if I didn’t leave immediately she would call security. I was stunned and asked them who the shift manager was this evening to which they all replied, ‘l am’. I shook my head, put the two items l was hoping to purchase on a nearby shelf and told them how disappointing it was that they were in such a hurry to leave work that they would be so aggressive and intimidating to one of the stores frequent customers. In fact I found all three of these staff members to be rude and intimidating, not what I’m assuming the shareholders of Kmart and its conglomerates would be happy about or encourage. It was obvious that these staff members were determined that they would be ‘clocking off’ at 10pm and not a minute later. Their conduct was so unprofessional and Kmart need to remind their staff that ‘The customers are the REASON they are there not just another ANNOYANCE in their work day’. Sadly, these staff members obviously missed the point of the old saying, ‘The customer is always right’, and are all in desperate need of a refresher course in customer service and relations.
Just so very disappointing.

It's good but the quality can be low compared to Target. I've noticed a lot of stock is low as it's all from China. Current situation isn't helping.

Is just a Kmart. Nothing more nothing less. Is the same as well the other kmarts but a little bit newer or a little bit older. It all depends on when they were built or opened

I love the store and huge range of quality products. Helpful staff. We just brought our new Cavoodle home from chevromist kennels and found just about everything we needed for her. They have a huge range of pet products for a fraction of the price of some of the pet specialty store.

Ridiculous. Crowds of people queuing and blocking up the corridors so that "social distancing" could be achieved in the shops. There were queues of people blocking the corridors everywhere at Chadstone. Just stupid. No one was keeping their distances in the shops either. It's just not possible.

Here you will get toys, cloths, homeware etc items at reasonable price. Always crowded and full of customers. Very popular shopping center.
