Kinn Thai Restaurant

Used to be so good but recently went there for a group dinner & sadly their quality of food was exceptionally bad. The staff were extremely rude & ignorant aswell, very disappointed! Regardless of booking a table for 7.30, we were told to line up in the queue! Finally was seated after 45mins of waiting, the staff refused to inform us of the waiting period otherwise would've gone elsewhere. Sizzling beef & grilled wagyu beef was very chewy & disgusting.

Called ahead to ask about dietary requirements that they said on the phone would be fine but were treated like aliens when we brought it up in the restaurant. They do timed seatings and ours ended at 6.30, exactly 4 mins after the last main arrived but they still asked us to leave I could go on but I won't be going back and can't stress enough you shouldn't either. 0 stars.

Absolutely disgusted with the way we were treated, food was cold entrees were late and when I expressed my thoughts (respectfully) was told I was wrong it was warm and it took so
long because you have to wait for your entrees “first of all” one entrée came super late the second AFTER mains came!

NEVER GOING BACK THERE AGAIN SO DISAPPOINTED

First time writing review for this place even though I've been here multiple times. The chili jam soft shell crab is seriously good, and so is the crispy barramundi. Chili jam pork belly was decent but not as good as the previous two proteins.

Milk tea here is delicious, and the cocktail jugs are good too. Would 100% come back again.

Two visits with the family, bad service cold food, one meal was never turned up. Absolute rubbish. And they off a $5 voucher. Are they mad.

Beautiful beef massaman curry and pad thai. Really tasty big portions with large pieces of meat all through it. Thai milk tea was also delicious and customer service is excellent. Will definitely be back, thanks Kinn Thai

Came here to dinner tonight. As someone who has come here over 10 times I was appalled at the service given to us today.
All the wait staff were so rude and unwelcoming.
The food is always good but if this keeps up I will not be back.

Kinn put Thai food to another level (for me). Tasted amazingly good, spicy and sweating but worth it. Very unique and cozy restaurant and strategically located around Westfield Knox. The greens were so inviting, then the Tom Yun soup was ok (for a non Tom yum fan), the meat were marvelous too. As usual: don’t trust me, go try it for yourself. Trust your own taste buds. Enjoy.

Good flavour food and friendly service. If you're after good value this is less appealing. We had 8 dishes for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The dishes with meat contained small amounts of the actual meat. The bill was $130 and we left satisfied, but not feeling too full or having leftovers.

It was fine, though overpriced. I'd be fine to go back but won't be in a hurry to do so.

Ordered through uber eats from wantirna store, very small serves, mainly sauce, hardly any veg or meat - disappointed

Terrible service! Completely forgot my drink and I watched our dining party get 1 meal then 15 minutes later 2 more, then my order was completely missed and no one questioned our orders or why there were only 3 mains delivered. Nothing was done to compensate and I had to sit there watching my friends eat whilst I went without! I felt like we were cattle being herded in and out.

Exceptional food and service. Soft shell crab chilli jam and the chicken coconut salad, so full of flavour and delicious. Service was efficient and friendly even with a full restaurant. Highly recommend.

Ordered takeaway at restaurant, got home and had received the wrong dish, simple error that should not be made in a “quality” restaurant. Very disappointed by this and was looking forward to my meal. Proceeded to ring and was just placed on hold and they weren’t really interested in resolving the problem. Poor customer service!

The so called chicken wings you ordered are as small and thin as your pinky! And dish portions are way too small for what they charge.

Have been a few times now and the food is amazing! Very tasty, refreshing and delicious. Highly recommend the chilli jam soft shell crab, sizzling beef and the coconut chicken salad. Service is a 50/50 sometime excellent, sometimes not so much. However I’m still looking forward to our next visit.

Love the food but the music is up so loud that you cannot hear one another speak. It seems to be turned up for the staffs enjoyment. Can ruin the meal

How can you have an extensive salad menu but non of it vegetarian or vegan? So simple and basic. Not impressed that this restaurant hides behind the excuse of “fish sauce”.
