Kingston Funerals we’re wonderful. Having already gone through the funeral process for our mum earlier this year (with a different company) the difference in service and ease with Kingston was very much appreciated. Harley was kind and communicated clearly with us every step of the way. The service for our dad was exactly what we, and dad, would have wanted, and organised in less than 2 hours.
Thank you Harley and Kingston for making a very difficult thing that much easier with your care.

I couldn’t recommend Harley highly enough. He went above and beyond from the first call and throughout to help us arrange cremation in time to take mum home for her funeral in Qld. He did many extra personal things not part of the service to help us honour mum before her cremation. The cost and timing compared to all other providers we contacted did not come close for what others offered as just a basic cremation, and Harley provided extra no-cost personal touches for our family and our mum. Harley also gave beautiful words of encouragement unprompted to my dad and our close family as we said our final farewell at the crematorium then later picked up the ashes for us personally so we could get mum home to Qld in time. 7 star service with genuine care and compassion for an incredible price. I cannot thank him enough for being a proper angel during the most difficult of times in our lives.

My father died in August, after an extremely short illness. Our small family were devastated and shocked. We met with Danii who was our funeral organiser. She was our angel. Nothing was too much trouble and she was always there with her arms open.
Our family had used Kingston Funerals for the first time in 1998, they were small then, but even though they are a much larger organisation now, that amazing caring, warm atmosphere is still maintained.

Kingston Funerals helped us say goodbye to my mother in November last year. They offer a fantastic service and their care and empathy helped us put together a fantastic farewell for our Mum. Sandra Kinsella and Jasmine Andrews in particular went above and beyond. I was reluctant to view Mum before the service but Jasmine made her look so beautiful for me to say goodbye. I rang at night to report my Mothers death. A young man answered. He sounded distracted and working on computer. I asked if that was Kingston and he replied yes. A couple of days later I rang Kingston with a query. They had no record of my Mothers body. I rang the nursing home who said Simplicity Funerals had taken her. I rang Simplicity who also had no record. A little later Kingston rang to say my mother was with the wrong company and I would have to pay a transfer fee. No, I said. A little later Kingston rang again and from then on the service was excellent. They went out of their way to make it up. They transfered my mother without fee and everything went smoothly from then. I thank them for righting a wrong. I dont know how it went wrong but it was very unpleasant.

We contacted Kingston funerals when my father recently passed away they took care of everything very caring and proffecional and it was exactly what my father wanted I can't stress how much care and respect that the staff at Kingston funerals have gave us and went above and beyond to give our father his final send off as he and the family wanted i highly recommend Kingston funerals thank you so much.

We went to Kingston Funerals to organise my mother’s funeral and the whole visit was treated as a business transaction without a single sign of sympathy, forget any empathy.
It was all about money without a trace of emotion.
The manager Mary Clarke was downright rude and the consultant Danii Sheridan was inexperienced and inefficient. This was not the first time we had used their services and the difference between this time and the previous time was completely different.
Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing & I would not recommend Kingston Funerals.
