KFC Ashburton: Takeaway, Delivery & Drive Thru

I visited this KFC outlet last Sunday (27/03/2022) night and the girl who was at the checkout just threw the bag of my food on the counter and left to the kitchen. She was rude and not pleasant at all. I was very disappointed with that service.

They missed the items that's my second time.so check the box every time when you purchase from this store. I called the store they not responding as always.

Typical KFC nothing bad but also nothing good, just average KFC. No long waits in the drive through.

I rated this 5 star few years ago. Now 1 star it has been a long for and back with this store. 1 they can not get any online order right, when you make changes to the sides they never get it correct. Today I ordered 2 go bucket for the kids and got one with 3/4 full and the other less then 1/2 full. Called the restaurant and was advised that is portion controlled. If it was portion controlled I would have expected both to be same but not. Please see picture.

Every time I come here it's consistently a high standard of food which I find is rare for KFC- its usually pretty hit or miss, but not at Ashburton Kfc! Very fast drive through as well

Picked dinner up from here. Chips were so well done and the boxed meal was made to specification perfectly. Way better than the inconsistency at Burwood.

Bought take away original recipe KfC on 22 June. The pieces were tiny and burnt, my worst KfC experience ever. See pic attached. Have not been back since.

Always spot on with their boxed meals. Their chicken is always cooked perfectly, moist and crispy on the outside. My go to for KFC. No other outlet has compared on consistency. Thumbs up to all the management and staff here.

Kfc Ashburton is our local My husband went up to get dinner tonight for us (mon12/7) a large 3 piece meal, a large original twister meal and 10 nuggets. SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT! EVERYTHING was cold as, the 3 piece meal consisted of 2 cold dry manky drumsticks n 1 cold dry manky wing! Nuggets were stone cold aswell as the twister and both lots of chips. Since not having kfc for a few months we were excited for it finally, much to our disappointment. I can't see us having it anytime soon.

Normally I get great kfc from this store but I'm sorry to say today has been a complete disappointment. Firstly let me say Staff were friendly and did the customer service great.but whoever cooked the chicken and then whoever let it be served not very good. Chicken tenders were overcooked dry and very different to eat. Please when people spend money on your goods give them something they want and can eat. Even the dog couldn't eat it today

3rd time the staff have completely ignored special requests in my order. Today I requested 3 wings but was delivered 2 legs and a thigh - neither of which I eat so all went straight into the bin. Very disappointed.

If I could give less than one, I would.
Asked for extra salt on the chips, chips had no salt. Had to do multiple U-turns to go back. Went in and got extra salt only to return to the car and be told that my son only got 2 nuggets in his go bucket.
Went back in, attitude sucked. Rectified the issues but no friendliness or greeting, no apology for two mistakes, ignored me for ages, gave dirty looks, clearly didn't want to serve me or have me take up their precious time.
Total joke, should have been the place to close down instead of Red's because the only consistency they have there is to be consistently poor.

I had a online order today and it took them a while to prepare it, probably because I did not order in store and they missed it.
I do appreciate that they used a separate tongs to prepare my chips directly from the frying basket, as I ordered it without salt.

We only ever order chips from these guys, and ask for fresh every time.seldom do we get them, but when we’re do, it’s as if they use old oil and the frozen chips have been sitting out of the freezer for too long.
The better option is to drive to Oakleigh KFC and get properly fresh chips.
