Most pathetic service I've experienced from any KFC or for that matter from any fast food outlet!

Today, at about 6pm, I visited this outlet. My husband was in the car struggling with a blood sugar low and urgently needed to get something to eat. I went into the store to place the order. The person serving me gave me the wrong order (I ordered chicken fillet and got a chicken piece) and when I politely said that it was not the item I ordered, she took the packet then took a fillet and threw it across the counter into the brown carry bag, toppling it in front of me and strutted away without an apology. If it was not for the fact that my husband so urgently needed something to eat, I would've asked to see the store manager/supervisor immediately and would've demanded a refund. This is not the type of service one would expect from a KFC, and I will most certainly not be purchasing from this outlet again.

I tried calling the store on the way home, but the phone was not answered although the store was still open.

We got drive-thru food. The food was cold, I went in and complained that the food was cold but still I got the same food back which was cold. Worst KFC I’ve been to.

I occasionally buy a Zinger box, since the original hot'n'spicy came onto menu, always from this location. Over the last year or so since the wings were dropped I have noted decline in quality of the added replacements to the wings. What is it - congealed stuck together glug? The meat in the burger had remained kind of OK, though inferior in taste, but last night 21st Sept I purchased a Zinger crunch box. Certainly not natural chicken breast in the burger. The taste was not of normal chicken, the bite texture most certainly not, it most certainly did not look like natural meat. The "crunch" coating was 90% soggy with occasional chewy something.

My local fish'n'chip outlet uses real chicken breast, the burgers are bigger and taste better. I get more quantity of food for a cheaper price.

To the owner of this store, first of all, I love KFC, this is probably why I still go do this place due to convenience, however this is by far one of the most inconsistent shop when it comes to the quality of your chicken, secondly and probably the most important is you manage to find the worst kids to look after your store, they swear in the kitchen, muck around and pay little to no attention to their customers, there are good ones, couple of the girls that are genuinely top professionals, and I can see they are just putting up with the rest of the losers (boys and girls) who is taking the piss out of your shop.

This evening, my girlfriend decided to treat herself to what we anticipated would be a delightful meal at KFC Ashburton. Oh, how sadly mistaken we were. Little did we know, her simple order of a Twister meal would be the star of a most unsettling performance, courtesy of your teenage ensemble behind the counter.

It seemed that the very mention of a "Twister" meal at approximately 8: 30 PM was akin to asking them to perform the labors of Hercules. The symphony of complaints and unfiltered commentary that echoed from the kitchen area was nothing short of a masterclass in how to turn customer service into an avant-garde tragicomedy.

Our order, it seemed, was a grand inconvenience, a burden that was vocalized with vibrant echoes of dismay and disdain, audibly coloring the ambiance of your establishment with tones of clear disapproval and bitterness. Oh, the drama, the passion, the sheer audacity! It was an audible feast of grievances, served hot and fresh, right alongside our Twister meal.

But allow me to offer a small suggestion, a tiny morsel of feedback, if you will. Perhaps, in the spirit of fostering a welcoming atmosphere, it might be prudent to remind your culinary artists that customers, the lifeblood of any service industry, should not be subjected to a side order of derisive commentary with their meal.

In light of this experience, I find myself fervently wishing for an encore performance, where the star of the show is professionalism, and the soundtrack is one of respect and courtesy. Until such a transformation occurs, I'm afraid we'll be taking our appetites elsewhere, where the atmosphere is less.theatrical.

We do sincerely hope that this feedback acts as a catalyst for a much-needed change, steering the ship back to the shores of dignity and grace in customer service. It is our fervent wish that no other patron has to witness the unravelling of culinary morale over a simple Twister meal.

Your restaurant closes at 10.30pm. So if I order food at 9.30pm and you can't provide then your restaurant is poor. I guess your employees wanted an early night? Improve.

These nom noms on the run rarely disappoint.drive thru is faster than eat in.
Impressive staff and if ever the order is wrong, they fix it!
The chicken is always great, the quality of food is consistent and for that me and mine are grateful.

We paid $33 n got 10 pieces. The pieces were the size of winlets. They did not have burgers, no wraps and chips were cold. Disgusted.

I had bad experience couple of time before with chicken quality and store needs a good manager, all the people inside they were just talking not serving customers.

Went in store Wednesday Afternoon (4th Jan 5pm). The girl who took my order had one of the worst fast food customer presentations I've ever seen. She looked like she didn't want to be there, like she hated her job with a passion and me being coming in burdened her. She has one of the most easiest jobs in society. All she has to do is to appear friendlier and set the stage for positive interactions with customers with a smile; hire someone with a more bubbly/friendlier personality.

Got to the drive-thru 10 mins before closing time and was waiting for 5 mins while the car in front was getting served, and then they just ignored us. Awful service. Why bother the advertised closing time at 11 pm when staff is already packed up 10 mins before

Food was literally disgusting. An ultimate box with a drumstick that looked like it was half eaten. After complaining it was replaced but a complaint should not be necessary.

It's KFC what more can you say! Staff are great and happy to help with ad-hoc requests. They even help out if you prefer more or less or certain type of chicken piece.

This place used to be good. However, recently the food quality dropped a lot. The foods were old and warm. Even if you complain and then they made a new one, the food is still the same. Very disappointed. This kfc becomes one of the worst KFC

Ordered Christmas in July family meal, only got half the order. Called in and was told to hold, no one came to the phone in 10 minutes. So hung up and called back for some reason just kept getting an automated message saying no one was available and cant connect. Service was terrible it was a delivery order as I have covid and can't go into store. Every time I've ordered drive thru or delivery, they can never get the order rite, has happened several times now, half my order missing. Food quality here is just getting worse. Don't order here or you will have the same problems guarenteed. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

It’s a KFC and there isn’t original chicken. You can’t even complete a box meal. Thanks Alana the manager for informing me to go another KFC because with a side of attitude too, just after 10pm when closing is at 11 you have none of the original items. Ridiculous and FYI it’s not because of your evening schedule, there are times in the day when you don’t have original chicken. Maybe is should just go to a fast food joint that actually serves what the profess to be all about. Absolute bloody joke.

These people that work at KFC Ashburton. Absolutely disgusting attitude and service. The food was all wrong. Thus so called manager at 8.30 on was so rude. Didn't care about the restaurant. KFC you need to seriously consider the people you employ

Very expensive for a few pieces of chicken. Chips were nice as was the coleslaw. Very clean with friendly staff
