keysmith services reviews
51Best engraving service in Melbourne from hand engraving to computer laser, exceptionally reasonable pricing, reliable, friendly and quick turn around. Don’t waste your time or money going anywhere else.
I don't understand the negative comments. I have come here for key replication, garage door clicker and resole of my designer shoes. They did amazing jobs everytime with reasonable prices. They are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.
I took a slipper with a partially separated insole to get it re-glued. I was charged $20 for this and when i asked what it for the guy at the coutner said it was the glue and labour (!) When picking up the slipper the following day with the old insole reglued, I again mensioned the apparently excessive charge and was told that that was their "minimum charge". I wish I hadn't left the slipper there in the first place (but I was in a hurry) and was told about the "minimum charge". Rip off, felt simply robbed!
Completely unsatisfying customer service! The shoe repair guy with a accent is the most rudest person and so unhelpful! I would not recommend anyone to take there shoes to be repaired here!
I've taken many shoes/keys there over the past 7 years and The Keysmith are always brilliant. Great, fast service and the team are always lovely! Super happy and definitely recommend.
Excellent, efficient service with great advice and very reasonable prices. Case in point: I went to another shop in Southland to get a new Mitsubishi car key cut and they quoted me an astronomical price with no guarantee it would work. The very knowledgeable British man at Keysmith made quick, cheap recommendations and I now have a new car key with all electronic components transferred, working like a dream.
Thanks so much!
They have a kind of arrogant dealing with the public, besides they charge exorbitant prices compared to other places.
I will never use their shop again.
I left some shoes here for the heels to be replaced as they were worn out and upon pick up noticed in one of the shoes the heel was chipped. When I pointed this out, the cobbler (this tall guy with an accent) said that was already there, when it definitely wasn’t and arrogantly added that they don’t break shoes they fixed them. If I pay good money for the shoes to be fixed, means these shoes are precious otherwise for the money they charge I would buy a cheap fresh pair, definitely won’t be back that’s for sure.
I have had numerous pairs of boots and shoes repaired at this great family business with excellent and friendly service.
They may be called keysmiths but they are also highly skilled cobblers. They talk you through the different options for shoe repairs and take the to time to do the repairs properly.
They have also repaired a broken zipper on a favourite backpack. It needed unstitching to make the repair and they retensioned the zip while they were at it to make sure it would work better and last longer.
If you're after high quality repairs at reasonable prices by people who care about what they do, you should bring your shoes down and get them to take a look.
Guy @Balaclava store was extremely rude and abusive to my grandfather who came in to get his watched repaired. Won't be going back!
Great guys, I tried 2 other shops that didn't have the blank for the key I needed cut. Very professional and quick service
