Charged my card while I was standing by the machine although I paid by cash. When I went back to the store and disputed it the guy said he couldn't do anything about it and basically implied I must have caused the card to scan. I had the receipt for my cash purchase and only knew who the bank statement charge was referring to because it was the same name (not keysmith services). I never got my money back. This was fraud. Note I am posting this review quite some time after incident. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE

I had a pair of my favourite 20 year old, Adidas 'World Cup 66's' sneakers resoled and shined by Phil. He did a spectacular job in restoring them to match their former glory days. The sneaker sole Phil used has given them a new retro look that I love.

I'd also broken the tip of my much loved handcrafted Japanese 62 ply Damascus steel knife, which Phil fixed with ease. Your workmanship on both counts is greatly appreciated. Cheers

I didn't expect my pair of beloved Bally loafers could gain a new life after 20years and quite a few repairs, but the opposite was true. The level of care and appreciation KeySmith Services put into restoring my shoes was exceptional. Felt everything was explained to me before, but feel they went beyond that to achieve the results I got.

I have had both good and mediocre experiences dealing with the owner of this shop, but what happened 20 minutes ago when he threw the shoes back at me claiming “design fault” certainly takes the cake. It didn’t help when he implied that unless I get off his premises he would attack me physically.
Being a local I walk past this place once a day and have supported them with key cutting and repair jobs over the years but never again.

I have been dealing with this business for a long time and really don't know many people which are dedicated to their craftsmanship as they are.

I been coming to this store for years as always helpful staff as the owner is such a wonderful person as has help me with all my repairs as happy with the service and quality. I have always had great service from the staff as well. I see a negative comment which shocked me as never have I seen the owner aggressive towards customers as he does offer a solution. Like any business if a customer is rude they cry foul. Look definitely try this store and see for yourself how great their service is.

My third visit to these guys, and i have had dozens of shoes repaired over the years with different people But, these guys really know how a shoe works, take it apart sew it back together, my shoes where mashed, not anymore, perfect, my all time shoe repairers, maybe have them make a new pair next time, sweet.

I'm sure the reply will stay true to form with abuse, spelling and factual errors and little relevancy along with a tirade about politeness and the alleged quality of his enterprise.

I have moved to St Kilda from interstate and found it hard to find a good Cobbler which I can trust. I was very pleased to see how nice the my shoes turned out when I came to pick them up.

Amazing service! We put in some very well worn boots to have the soles replaced and repaired, and the results are absolutely stunning! Good as new, the repairs are very high quality and professionally done. We definitely recommend this store.

I've been using their services for years. No job is too small or too much trouble, and the prices are more than reasonable for the quality of the work. I've recommended them more than once.

This shop is the absolute best, been coming here for years and will only come here for my watches, shoes and keys they've always been fast, great quality and friendly.

A few months ago I experienced non professional conduct by one of the male workers (60years old) in the shop. Please teach your staff members professional conduct code within a workplace.
