Kawa Sake Sushi Boat reviews
63 Sushi Boat is so cool.
Food is excellent.
Staffs are friendly and helpful.
Good restaurant
I was here with my family and we all love it. My toddler love the sushi and the boat train kept her busy the whole time. The homemade gyoza is to go for, and the “not to be missed” cocktail. Absolutely amazing!
Oh my goodness, that was delicious! Kawa friend roll blew my mind! Highly recommended. Food was quick and service great
Giving 5 stars to the BOSS before I even get my food for his amazingggg service over the phone right now, actually great man as there is not many owners who are willing to be patient and go above and beyond so you understand what you are getting! His accomodating nature is great and should be spread around to all business owners!
Certainly worth a visit. Sushi is delicious.made to order. Small but cosy dining area. Bathroom needs an overhaul.
Lovely food in a quaint atmosphere; very extensive menu with a focus on seafood, sushi & a few hot dishes.
They were happy to customize items due to dietary requirements, and our waitress was very attentive.
Amongst what we ordered, the vegetable tempura was a very large serve for its price & very tasty. As well as their katsu bowls, incredible value for money in that location.
Took nearly an hour for food to arrive when the restaurant wasn't even packed. Had another customer that arrived later than us but got his food before us. Probably the worst service I've ever received. Food was just mediocre. Would not return to this place again
Very, very slow service.expensive for the quantity and sizes.limited menu.we went for pizza after! The waiters aren't very friendly. I wouldn't recommend this place.
I ordered rainbow sashimi for 18$ And it came with 6 pieces of fish and a lemon. What the hell is that? Just don’t buy things or even go to this place people.
Service was…interesting. They seemed quite confused and forgot some of the items we’d ordered. The food was decent though and a good price, but servings were small so it’s recommended that you order a lot of different things. I particularly liked the green tea soba noodles.
Quaint and cosy tucked away in a bustling Yarraville corner. Staff are friendly, food is delicious, fresh and very tasty. Really worth a visit!
This is Yaz/Yaldã your regular customer,
First of all I have to thank you all for wonderful amazing foods and services!
Also You have been very generous with online orders, just wow:)
These beautiful people and their resturant are one of the bests, the best I have ever had to be honest,
So thank you very much for everything, I really appreciate it,
Dōmo arigatōgozaimasu
World's slowest sushi.
When we got here, there were only two other parties, yet it still took 40 minutes for the first plate. 20 minutes later we got our 2nd plate. We asked when the rest was coming and was told 5 minutes. 10 minutes later we gave up and paid for what we had had (nothing was comped) and decided to go elsewhere for dinner.
Long wait. Lack of staff. Management needs to hire more chefs and waiters. The poor people are working their butts off running to do everything but still we were waiting for 2 hours. And the food wasn’t even worth it.
Good prices, full of flavour and great costumer service.
Definitely worth it.
(Please make yourself a favour and order the takoyaki, great entree)
Not good. $60 for the tiniest amount of food. Tempura was over cooked. Sushi was warm. Missing avacado rolls. Way over priced for the worst sushi platter of my life. Don't bother.
Ordered on Uber Eats. Pricing was high for bento box, I expected a generous and quality meal. Terrible! Stingy! Over priced!
Poor quality probably reheated from frozen, badly made thick, chewy tempura, super stingy portions, not what the menu suggested. Sizzling chicken was mostly sad looking veggies drowned in an overly sweet sauce with like 4 sad little pieces of chicken. Variety of sushi and nigiri was 4 average salmon rolls. Less than 1tsp of seaweed salad. The rice was old and dry. Like if you can't even dish up rice properly do you deserve to call yourself a Japanese restaurant?
Don't waste your money people!
Gyoza chewy, sashimi wasn’t fresh, strange tempura California roll, service was very slow and forgetful. The bill ended up being more expensive than I expected. Not recommended.
Really tasty. Sashimi is cut extremely well. Ordered the boat for two and a whole bunch of fried goodies very impressed with everything. Small cosy size really took me back to Japan.
Will be going back
