I enrolled at nunawading japanese langauge school earlier in the year.

It is and has been a great learning experience also very motivational.

I am not a morning person by all means but the teachers have great energy and great vibes throughout the lesson

I always look forward to going to school every week for lessons and just trying my hardest

My Japanese learning experience has been so enjoyable and fun because of Miyuki Sensei (teacher) and her team. The energy in the room and the way the classes are structured are all so engaging and supporting. Every Wednesday after work I go to the 6pm class and I feel like I’m walking into a room of fun and catching up with old friends, as we always have so much laughs during the class and it’s just such a relaxing way to be productive (as I also learn new or enhance conversational phrases every time I go!)

The Senseis are all so friendly and energetic and wonderful people, I would recommend anyone who wants to learn Japanese to come here, and have a great time.

My husband and I had 'learn Japanese' on our bucket list for years, until a friend suggested we do something about it and start taking classes! We've been so happy with the experience at Nunawading Japanese School, our classmates are great and the teachers are wonderful. Highly recommend.

I was a student here for about 3 years now, online for the first two and then in person for the last, and it's safe to say it was the most fun I've ever had learning a language. I've learnt so much from the teachers here and I'm very grateful to them! I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to learn Japanese, whether it be starting completely from scratch or brushing up on the knowledge you already have!

I have been a student of the online intermediate level lessons with Nunawading Japanese school. My objective was to regain my language skill and I found the classes a great learning experience. My teachers made the classes fun, very interactive covering various topics to enhance the language skill and general knowledge about Japan. I thoroughly enjoyed the classes. A big "Thank You" to all the teachers for making this a memorable experience and helping me in my language journey.

My wife and I have been attending the school for a couple of months now, and the progress we’ve made as beginners is astounding. This is the place to be!

I've been here for a couple of years and have loved learning Japanese here. The teachers are amazing and the lesson content flows really well from one topic to another. Highly recommend if you're looking to learn Japanese.

I had been studying for at least over 2+ years now and I can feel my proficiency and understanding of Japanese language improves astronomically. I used to only have a vague understanding of Japanese (through some tv show/anime/manga/novel) but now, I can understand more and more from those media. The teachers are native Japanese and the classes progress at a steady pace with a lot of practical applications. It may seems slow at time but remember that you don't learn a language overnight, it's a lifetime commitment. This school ensure you have that solid foundation.

I've tried a few different language schools over the years and none have made it as easy or as enjoyable as Nunawading Japanese School. They've structured lessons in a way that will enable to have you basic conversations from very early on which I appreciate. All the teachers are wonderful and patient. I could not recommend them more!

I have been attending Nunawading Japanese School's group Japanese classes for a year. The classes are small and very welcoming and the teachers are friendly and energetic! The school was also very helpful during my teaching rounds and organised catch up lessons for me so that I didn't fall behind in class. Prior to starting group classes, I was using an online platform to go through the Genki textbook. I found Nunawading Japanese School far more beneficial for my learning as there was more opportunities to practice speaking and listening in a conversational manner.

I've been learning at Nunawading Japanese School for about 6 months now, and I can say without a doubt it's one of the best decisions I've made. Staff are great, lessons are fun, and the learning process is welcoming to anyone!

I started with Nunawading Japanese School at the start of 2022. Before I started, I knew nothing about the Japanese language. I don't know how to speak and write the language.

Fast forward 6 months, I have learnt so much. I can now write Hiragana and I'm just starting with Katakana.

The teachers are very patient and friendly. Encouraging us to converse more in Japanese which I'm getting more confident and comfortable in.

I would highly recommend anyone who wants to learn the language to give these people a call.

The teachers are so energetic and passionate about teaching. I get to class tired and grumpy after work and I'm always amazed at the enthusiasm from the teachers! It's a pity I can't come in with the same energy!
The school has shown compassion and flexibility with my personal circumstances. When had to take an extended break from class they were understanding and after I came back they matched me with a similar level class.
They also arranged one-on-one catch up sessions for when I felt I was behind! Legend!

Cool school.

I recently finished the beginner level 1 at Nunawading Japanese School and have loved my experience. Having classes over zoom never felt like a hindrance, and every class was challenging and enjoyable. I've learnt japanese on and off, but found the way it's taught here was very practical and made it easier to remember.

Been taking Japanese classes here for the last 2 years and it has been wonderful. Awesome and exciting teachers there that make learning Japanese fun. Highly recommend this place if you're looking somewhere to start learning Japanese.
