Italy 1 @ Camberwell

Such a beautiful restaurant. Table service is great. Dishes ordered are just delicious. Wait staff are observant and attentive. Highly recommended.

I ate here on a Friday night a couple of weeks ago, excellent table service and excellent food. Although the man making the drinks at the bar was extremely rude to the other female wait staff working, yelling the f word at one so loudly that we could here the exchange from our table. It's not ok to speak to staff in such a way let alone any one and a really poor experience to hear when you are a paying customer. Would have been a 5 star experience otherwise.

We went to Italy 1 last night for dinner. The food was amazing, I had the Gnocchi my husband the Lamb shanks and our friends the seafood marinara. The Gnocchi was wonderful, shanks amazing and finally the marinara " the best marinara " he had ever had. Finishing the night of with the chocolate pudding was divine.
Cannot finish without mentioning how great the staff were. Polite, efficient, tentative to all aspects of the night that made our night special.

Italy 1 is my favourite restaurant in Melbourne. Great food and fantastic staff. Always a great experience. Highly recommended.

Fantastic venue with contemporary Italian cuisine. Great atmosphere excellent staff and the food is delicious. Highly recommend for special occasions or intimate dining. The staff are very helpful and know how to do their job.

This place is where i've had almost every saturday lunch for the last 18 (sic) years. Love the food

The food and service was great. Our waitstaff had friendly and passionate personalities. We ordered to pasta dishes and a side which was enough for 2, and were very impressed with the quality of food.

Great food, great atmosphere not too expensive at all. One of my favorite Italy restaurant 15KM around balwyn.

Great food, great atmosphere and if you're lucky enough to get Julia you will have amazing service too.

this is great Italian food, the best seafood pasta I have ever tasted and the service was out of this world! Great little place, abit squashed and pricey but hey! If the food and service are this good, I am willing to pay! Def worth it! I keep dreaming of the pasta dish I had and cant wait to go again

The vibe and the service is amazing. A perfect place for a fancier meal with a date. The roast duck was good along with the duck risotto and the beef gnocchi. Only 4 stars because of the duck portion size was a little small for the price. Otherwise, thoroughly enjoyed.

New Years Eve dinner was a fantastic success thanks to the great staff at Italy 1. Service & food were outstanding.

Phenomenal is how I describe Italy 1 - consistently delicious food, amazing service with brilliant ambiance. Relaxing and enjoyable every time, always a pleasure dining with you. See you again shortly!

Sensational food and wine. The waiter was fabulous and made our night really enjoyable.

Great ambience, decent food quality. A little expensive. It would be mush better to have more space between each table, as I can join the conversation next to me kind of close. Service is great though.

Great gem in Camberwell. Fantastic wine list and freshly prepared dishes, nothing to complain about! Make sure you book a table in advance as it can get very busy.

Lovely food. We had gnocchi (special and on menu), linguine marinara, salad and desert. Very well done but was let down by slow drawn out service. I understand they were very busy but good businesses should always be able to deal with it.

Good food, good ambience, very good for large groups. My suggestion would to be to take a look at the menu before going, otherwise you would most probably end up with quite a bit of queries. (maybe i am not too familiar with Italian cuisine /menu). Tip. If you are going for the fish of the day, do remember to order sides along with it, as the dish itself will have a rather small piece of barramnundi. Staff: friendly and courteous. Was fun to interact with them. Overall. An excellent restaurant!
