Seafood linguine marinara was superb and my deserts was so yummy, our waitress Claudia, she is so nice and very helpful always happy to be back in this place

Perhaps light background music would improve the already high standard of the ambience. This was our second visit In 6 weeks. We found the lunch time experience on a par with the 6-8pm service. We highly recommend Italy 1 as a truely authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of Camberwell. The customer service is outstanding.

Very welcoming and foods here are exquisite! After visited camberwell Sunday market and grab seat to enjoy lunch plus coffees!

Beautiful restaurant and the food is perfectly curated. Great wine list and is ideal for a degustation menu.

Price and ideas 5 star, execution well below promise. Scallops, veal and duck all dried out and over- firm. Even triple baked potatoes not special at all in flavour or texture. Good service, but only 3 tables at lunch, so bo pressure environment, which makes the food even more disappointing. Wines very good, but pricey same for cocktails.

Nice dishes and delicious, the services are excellent especially the explanation about how to do the wine pairing.

The only thing is the space is too close to the next table but it gives us a very "human" feeling during the cold winter.

The beef was a 10 out of 10, super tender and the balsamic sauce truly brought out the flavours of the meat. I also enjoyed the swimmer crab risotto and the scallops very much. However, the daily pasta special was a disaster, it was an olive oil and parsley kind of shell pasta. The pasta was a bit undercooked, and tasted bland. Advice is to stay away from their specials and only order what’a offered on the regular menu.

This would honestly be one of the best restaurants I’ve been too. We booked in for a 3 course New Years Eve experience and could not fault an absolute thing. We were blown away by the quality and deliciousness of the food and the level of service received! Our first time to your restaurant and definitely not the last! I can feel a beautiful relationship beginning to grow!

Incredibly poor customer service. A true disappointment, had to cancel a booking relatively late due to covid and the venue decided (after telling us there would be no cancellation fee) have proceeded to charge $225.00 for the cancellation of the booking. Nothing but greed. After calling 3 times to try get the venue to explain, Alberto told me he and his staff had “agreed” not to give the money back and that he doesn’t want to get in trouble by his boss instead of doing the right thing. Then hung up on me.

The complete opposite of customer service. A greedy venue that does not look after patrons. As someone in the hospitality industry I am appalled. I understand venues are doing it tough, but don’t say there will be no charge and rip off guests who haven’t even experienced your venue.

Will continue to not recommend. Shame.

Food was delicious with great depth in flavour, definitely where the high price comes from.

The manager knew his stuff, very efficient and clear with the specials and recommendations while the other staff were very attentive and kind.

The table was a tad small for the 5 of us even though we booked but otherwise it's a quaint little restaurant that is surprisingly busy for a normal Monday night but I can see why.

Last night we had our Christmas work dinner at Italy 1 and we had a wonderful evening! We had a three course dinner, the food was delicious and the service was fantastic. I couldn't fault it, I highly recommend Italy 1

A charming little Italian restaurant with good service. The food is way over priced for what it is - $40 for a main sized calamari and $20 for a dessert? ! That’s pricing that you’d expect to pay into he city for a top notch restaurant, not for a ‘standard’ restaurant in the suburbs.

A really terrific place, intimate, delicious food and A+ service. We had a delicious meal and were attended to by staff who were outstanding. So nice to have a place like this in Camberwell. Highly recommended for special dinners!

This has to be one of the top Italian restaurants. The Osso Bucco was perfect and a must try as with the pork cotoletta. Service was impeccable and staff were very attentive.

We had no booking last night but still we were accommodated by the lovely staff. Food was so delicious, fresh and worth the price. Panna cotta stole our heart. Our little daughter enjoyed the whole as well. We will always come back for sure…if someone want to experience real Italian flavours this is the place to be.

Our local, go-to Italian has never let us down. Beautiful food, fabulous staff, classy.
