Italian Artisans

Really good traditional Italian pizza. The base has aincient grains (sort of like wholegrain) that adds a really nice flavour, and they use real buffalo mozzarella on top!

I've known this place before it changed name. DOC was my favorite pizza place ever. Italian Artisans still serves good pizzas but shrinked the portion sizes and inflated the prices. The menu options have also reduced, I won't recommend anymore.

Absolutely outstanding pizza by Tony, the best pizza chef in Melbourne. We are regulars at Italian Artisans and never disappointed. We come as a family and are always impressed by all aspects from service to the amazing pizza. If you are a pizza lover (or not) you must try Artisans.

Move over *insert traditional Italian pizza place* - Italian Artisans is a must try for lovers of traditional Italian pizza! The ingredients are fresh and plentiful - the kitchen does not hold back on the mozzarella and other ingredients on your pizza which is refreshing! Staff are friendly and helpful.

Would recommend a platter of meats and cheese to start off your meal followed by delicious pizzas to share.

Bonus: it's not ridiculously expensive like many other traditional pizza places in Melbourne!

The food here is incredibly authentic! And the pizzas are off the hook good! Rated among the best in Melbourne and I can see why! The lasagna, soooo good! Also the service from Elenora was just outstanding!

Beautiful food, lovely service and we even got some complimentary bread. Will absolutely return! The desserts were so delicious as well

DOC Albert Park has been renamed Italian Artisans. We decided on this restaurant as we absolutely loved DOC Mornington. We were celebrating my husband's birthday which included 4 adults and 3 children under 6. We were disappointed! The areas that let this restaurant down were limited menu, overpriced wine, slow service. It took the waiter 30 minutes to bring the wine that we ordered (which was not nice ($75) and and it only came after my daughter gave him the look of pain! The people on the table opposite to us arrived 30 minutes after we did. Because they knew a member of senior management they received their food and drinks fairly much immediately whilst we were still waiting. The children were hungry and were made to wait 45 minutes before their food arrived. These are the negatives. The positives: food was really fresh. We ordered a salumi board for 2-3 people. It was generous! The others ordered pizza and I ordered the meatballs with a radicchio salad which was quite nice. Feedback on the pizza was also positive. My husband ordered another beer which they forgot to bring but was charged for (one should check the docket properly before paying!). As the service was sooo slow we decided to leave and have the birthday cake at home and forgo dessert and coffee. Even though we couldn't fault the freshness of the food, the night was an overall disappointment.

Good pizza, very authentic although our puttanesca was a bit too wet for a pizza topping. Staff are lovely but the everyone could do without the awkward tipping moment.it's australia folks, just pay your people correctly and everyone's fine.

Genuine Italian cuisine and waiters which tops off the great dining experience. Fabulous salumi - the mortadella is delicious. The pizzas are delicious with fresh toppings and thin base - real Italian pizza. A good selection of Italian and local wine to wash down the fabulous food. Plenty of seating inside, outside and the back courtyard. Worth a visit.

Consistently fresh and good! I love experiencing unique produces and Tony’s creative specials. There is no better place for a drink with friends or a family Sunday lunch.

Awesome place! Beat place to eat Italian food. Really happy with their customer services. This is one of the best place to enjoy some good quality Pizza and Pasta they are the best when it comes to Pasta, The staff is really nice and really fast services. The staff is really helpful. I have tried many pizza and pasta here and i like the Chicken Pizza very much and looks beautiful and has lots of cheese in it really delicious, 5 stars!
