Service was great and the staff were friendly. Food took a little longer than expected but was tasty which is the most important thing.

The service and attitude of the staff is pretty bad. I've been here about 4 times and it never gets better. Everything is too hard for the wait staff, we were questioned about "why did we order food if we can't finish it" they rely monetarily on patrons to to over-order and then can charge full price for small plates. Nothing is ever with a smile! They won't split bills in at least half. They don't tell you when the food service is over The food is average.

Always delicious. Beef tataki, salmon sashimi & octopus balls sensational! Green tea & black sesame ice cream are the perfect way to finish

Worst service I ever received.order a juice for 5yr old which was expired in may.had to wait for the food for over an hour, waitress was clueless going table to table asking if u order the food everytime she brought the food out from the kitchen.had to send the food back when couple of times.wasn't busy even they had only 4 tables of 2s but the had to wait for that long was unacceptable. I told my partner to leave after found the juice was expired but she was live give them another chance just wait.we waited but at the end she also said this is enough and left without finishing food as well and won't be back.would want to give zero star but I can't.

Food was extremely slow and by the time it arrived it was cold and servings weren't enough to last till the next meal arrived. The service was friendly however we had problems ordering vegan food the chef said there was milk in every dish but there clearly wasn't. Sad to say its yum but not worth the money

Never thought I wld enjoy a Japanese all you can eat. But was one of the better Japanese restaurants I have been to. Sushi was good quality.

So, for Japanese food it’s very average. I’ve eaten at a lot of places around melbourne and this has to be at the bottom. Ordered a gin and tonic and the tonic was completely flat, waited far too long for Our drinks to arrive.it’s Saturday night, first customers for the night, and they can’t even stock tonic. The sashimi was very chewy, made me want to vomit. We had to ask twice for several dishes to come, waited 45 minutes total. The dishes would arrive totally randomly so one person would have already finished theirs while the other has yet to receive anything.

Used to be our favourite Japanese restaurant, been going there for years. But they have changed the menu, less selection but charging the same price. Unfortunately, sashimi is our favourite but they offer that alone anymore. With the total cost we are going as a family, rather go to a more decent Japanese restaurant.

The food is good (not great). That is the only reason I gave a star. Service is VERY VERY slow when the place is crowded. Staff gets confused with order. Customers get upset because orders doesn’t turn up at all. Don’t bother coming with kids OR at all. The wait is not worth the food.

Food seems nice however we will not be back.
They have a 2hr segment of all you can eat, you don’t want to order too much incase there is wastage however the food takes soooo long to come out

I honestly could learn how to cook faster than getting our courses

Ever will we return

Excellent food and very attentive and polite staff. Was an absolute pleasure to have dinner here with my family.

Great experience. A bit pricy but worth it in my view. The sashimi was excellent and service was great. My 13 and 17 year Olds approved so that's a first. I'd advise you to arrive on time and order carefully to make sure you get a good selection on the first round so you don't have to wait so long. We didn't have any problems and all felt satisfied that we got the most out of the 40.00 per head all-you-can-eat. For a casual, special occasion or to try something different, give it a go!

Great selection of food. The all you can eat option was reasonably priced considering how often they visited the table. The quality of food was great as well. Beautifully presented and tasty.

Very disorganised and poor communication. Made us wait outside to prep a table but didn't communicate that perhaps they had a set time (others were waiting outside). Then when we re-entered had no idea who we were (we were in there 10mins ago!). So walked out. Very very disappointed.

Best japanese in the Yarra Valley for sure. All you can eat menu for 45aud, BYO wine available. Very short wine selection. Fresh ingredients and a wide variety of food for every taste. Friendly staff. If you’re very hungry pick the last seating time

Food very nice, service a little slow and chaotic. Nice atmosphere that can get noisy. Parking no problem.

Great Japanese food, quick to come out all you can eat. Drink service is a little slow but I enjoyed my night.

Absolutely beautiful, well presented, delicious and as much as you can eat in a 2 hour sitting, as long as you finish your plate first

We use to love coming here but after last night we won't be coming back. Compared to the first two times we went it's gone down hill big time. They take way too long to give you any food and they just give you far less and hardly any actual "sushi". Waste of money and we waited over 40 minutes between getting our next plates. Ruined my partner's birthday too.

I definitely won't be going back again.
Have been several times, pricy and slow. The food is nice but honestly Sushi Juro Trains in Knox end up being cheaper and better quality.
