Food I’ve had is good, however super conflicting information on what’s vegan and what isn’t. Most of what I was told was vegan last visit is now not and now there’s only the vegan gyoza apparently. I don’t feel comfortable going back due to the lack / uncertainty of vegan food

My family have been a regular at Isshin since it opened over 10 years ago. All i can say is we keep coming back. Delicous food, friendly staff and good value for money. Be good if they brang back prawn skewers and sashimi

Went on a Friday night, late sitting 7.45pm. First time here, surprised how messy it was, not a lot of customers, decor is tired.
Food was good, they did warn us though if we didn't eat everything they would charge us extra, so be careful how we ordered! Bit strange in way of introducing us to their restaurant!
Service was slow, had to ask them a couple of times to remove empty plates and glasses.
Not sure if we would recommend, but there are not many Japanese restaurants in this area.
Can only compare with Okami chirnside park. Probably prefer Okami, better value for money and better menu!

They have all you can eat for less than $50! It's definitely a good value.
The food was ok, some really good, and some not so good. I would recommend if you're craving a lot of Japanese food. The scallop dish had 1/4 scallop in each shell. $9 for that is not right.

Environment was very cozy and nice, with friendly staff that had great recommendations. Food were all really really good, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu (love the beef tataki and tempuras). Would definitely recommend!

We go here regularly. BEST BEEF TATAKI GOING AROUND. Amazing sushi, amazing everything else. They’re consistent and lovely. The workers remember us and are gorgeous every single time. Best fried rice I’ve ever had. Beef stake if mouth watering. Nothing can beat it. My favourite restaurant and it’s soooo affordable for what you get. Sooooo much better than Okami. Don’t be a fool. Eat at isshin. I’ve also had the take away which is not as affordable but is sooo worth it because it’s delicious

Banquet style dining for our family of 4 last night was superb. Isshin is tucked away beside the creek so we wouldn’t have known about it if it hadn’t been recommended to us. The service was flawless, the atmosphere calm and cosy. But OH the food… there are no adequate adjectives I know of… our 14 year old summed it up fairly well though when he said “It’s like everything here is the best version of whatever it is”. Ordering small portions as needed meant no food was wasted so I appreciate that too.

The food was great, but the service needs to be improved, one of the waitresses not really can understand what the customer asked for

Food quality was good. Service was pretty slow and was given a bill for 'all you can eat' at the end. Told the staff member that we weren't advised that's what was happening which is why we only ordered a few items. She corrected the issue.

Great food, good service, at a reasonable price for all you can eat. Just need the Salmon Sashimi back on the menu again?

Unfortunately our experience was poor. We were a large table of 10 and the food was scarce. When paying $45pp (all you can eat) you expect to get sufficient food. The food we did receive was nice however they were way understaffed and under prepared for the size of their bookings.

This is the second time I've been here. Everything is super fresh and the menu is great. Such a great value night out for the family

The all you can eat menu is fabulous. The service has improved immensely (not that it was bad ever), since we last came across from South Australia. We always make a point of going there each time we travel across!

IF I COULD GIVE A 0 I WOULD! We will never be coming back I never been somewhere with such bad service we waited 40 minutes to order and then a 1 hour for are food only got fried food and sushi! We didn’t even get half of what we ordered and we end up just leaving sooo disappointed and still paid $80. Every time I go here the service gets worse and worse.tonight did it for me! We will never come back and would not recommend this place to anyone! Drive the extra 5 to okami in chirnside park

Came here for dinner as a party of 8 on a busy Friday night and loved it! The food was amazing, so delicious and fresh. Far and away above competing restaurants. The service was timely, friendly and attentive. Couldn't recommend it more.
