Without fail, this restaurant continues to serve the best Indian cuisine we have ever tasted! My wife and I come back here for the lamb Korma, chicken Tika masala and butter chicken with the coconut rice and garlic Naan. We have been to many Indian restaurants but Indian Star outdoes all of them consistently. Thank you. Highly recommended. Keep up the good work.

This is our go-to favourite restaurant for years. Amazing food, outstanding service and fabulous value. Dine in experience is always special. Take away always reliable. It’s the only option for great quality Indian Dining.

I ordered chicken tikka masala and kadhai paneer but look at these pictures, the curry looks like a tomato gravy rather than chicken
And the taste was pathetic.
I came all the way from lalor around 20 km drive to have dinner here with my family and the food was so bad.

Our first time here - don't know what took us so long! Some of the most fragrant, flavourful food i've had in a long time.the garlic naan - OMG! Service is great and the staff are so friendly.great value for money and the environment inside of the restaurant really adds to the experience.can't wait to come back.

My new fav Indian takeaway! I had the fish madras, aloo pratha, and chicken briyani. The fish madras was very flavourful with hints of coriander (beware those who dislike it, maybe opt for something else). I like spicy food so I found the fish just right. The briyani was full of spices, with tender chicken pieces and was not dry (unlike many other briyanis I have tried). Definitely will be back

Definitely the best Indian restaurant I've been to in Melbourne. Highlight was definitely the tandoori platter- definitely a must!

The best food i have had in a long. I dont know why i never visited here before. What a brilliant taste in everything, authentic flavours and cultural vibe. So happy with the service and the dessert (Gulab Jamun) recommended by chef himself. Will see u guys soon. Thanks a lot

This is one of the best Indian restaurants in Melbourne. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Servers are also great and always happy and polite. Can't wait to visit again and Highly recommend it to anyone who loves fine dining Indian Cuisine.

We came super later to eat there and they were so accomdating for me and my partner to sit down and have dinner. We had a beautiful meal. The staff were amazing and our expierence felt like home and family. Sunil the owner there was amazing and made our night very special thankyou so much shall be back very soon!

Absolutely delicious! The food is consistently great and the service is tip top, this is definitely my go to. On another note, if you haven't tried the Samosa Chat you need to because it's ridiculously good.

I ordered a chicken biryani. When I received it it’s dry and no raita. When I called them, they say it never come with raita n I have to place order. Seriously, lot of chilli flakes. Seems like a chicken fry rice. When I order I saw it was 4.6 star. Well, quiet disappointment with this thing. Never going to order. I wish to give no star, unfortunately there is no option.

Since 2000 until now the food is so delicious the environment is amazing the customer service excellent love to be there all the time fantastic job guys keep it up

Absolute gem of a restaurant. Incredible food both delicious and authentic. Service was exceptional being greeted by the owner and treated like genuine guests. Harry was especially helpful and looked after us. We will be returning and bringing everyone. Love from Island boys
