I Love Dumplings

Probably the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to in Melbourne. It’s dirty, unhygienic, tacky.

But I'm not going to criticize the restaurant if I'm disappointed it's because of a waiter who disrespected me. I think that the management direction will read this message so I have to describe him, he is a young man, quite fat and Asian. He didn't say hello when we arrived and he took 15 minutes to serve us. He was very unpleasant, no smile. I asked him questions about the menu and he barely answered me.
I think he was upset about something else but that's not a reason to talk to the customer like that

I hope the management will make sure they don't hire people like that anymore.

The food was lovely. There were 15 dumplings which were wayyy more than we needed and sooo yummy!
We both decided to get the dumplings pan fried with Sichuan sauce. My partner was a bit concerned of the chilli flakes on top of the dumplings but it wasn't as hot as it looked. It was just the perfect amount of heat and taste.
We also tried the fried icecream and that was amazing as well.
Next time we'll order a bit less food to escape the food coma. We're defo going to revisit and try other options!

Entree very good but main dish had Chilli in it which I wasn't warned about. I'm not a big fan of dishes containing chilli.

The dumpling is great, but other foods is salty and some staff ignore me when i call for service

Come back on New year's holiday. This time we try dumplings in Sichuan chilli sauce and sweet chilli eggplant. The food is still excellent. Thanks for open during the Holiday.

Please avoid buying dumplings. I accidentally bought some a few days ago they were horrible and smelled really bad. Money down the drain.

This restaurant is so dissapointing. I am used to order in this place in uber app. However, the last time, the uber send the wrong food. I try to call uber and leave message but no response. I had waited for so long for this food to arrive and finally is wrong food. I call to the restaurant if they can help me to contact uber, but they say that is not their responsibility and they won't be able to contact uber driver. They can't help me. I already order for long time in this restaurant but is disgusting when they say they can't help and ask me to keep calling uber by myself. I definetly won't buy from this place anymore.

Tastes decent with good servings sized. Definitely good value. Their normal dumplings are nice though the soup dumplings can be a little dry. Their lamb rack is surprisingly good.

Ordered via Uber.waited for two hours. Delivery time was pushed back multiple times. Uber guy is apparently on a bike so no contact details. Finally got through to the restaurant - the food had been ready for 40 minutes but Uber had given the rider two pick ups. The second was delayed - so my food sat there and got cold. I walked down - the Uber guy said he was just doing what he was told. The restaurant were great - they just said there was nothing they could do … this was Uber. They called Uber and put me on - which was great because Uber isn’t interested in talking to us low customers. The Uber representative … well you can imagine how that went. I got a refund - but the problem is that this was all ubers fault and the restaurant suffers. The Uber representative had the temerity to say “we apologise for the bad experience at the restaurant”. The restaurant … cooked me another meal. Great service. Uber … appalling.

Not many serious Chinese in this part of town, particularly those with a serious Sichuan menu. Shredded pork was very good but the spring onion pancake pretty dry. Good service, pricing very good and a cracking 2 for 1 deal on drinks. Will be back for sure.

Don’t come here for authenticity. Beef noodles were too sweet. Pork ribs were boiled then covered with sauce therefore no flavour in the meat. String beans with mince pork was bland. Xiao long bao’s skin was too thick. Lamb ribs were too dry. My first and last visit.

Clean restaurant, food is always fresh but may I recommend not ordering through Uber eats as the food comes cold or undercooked.

Tasty food, good deals like buy 1, get 1 on all alcoholic beverages.
The food has reasonable prices. We ordered a dumpling dish, this Szechuan boneless chicken dish (delicious!), 2 glasses of wine and steamed rice shared between two. Our bill was $40. Great deal imo for a Friday night out.

Great food, especially Xiao Long Bao and Dumplings are juicy and delicious, strongly recommended. Restaurant Attendants are nice and friendly. You may have to book the seats if you ever going to eat on weekend because I hardly can find a seat last week. Definitely will return.

Don't miss dumpling with sichun chili sauce here. Good service and friendly staff, will back on Monday to get voucher as well!

Lovely staff, unfortunately, food was not good this time around. Overly sweetened sauces, shao long bao dumplings were completely dry and over cooked, Mongolian beef tasted old and it upset our stomachs, pork wonton in chili sauce tasted like desert because of the sweetness. Ordered $60 worth of food and didn’t enjoy it.

Dumplings with sichun chili sauce is amazing! Friendly staff and kids welcome. Definitely will back again!
