I Love Dumplings

Really well made dumplings and chicken of various taste. Amazing experience Highly recommended

The name is truly misleading. No doubt the dumplings are amazing but the other food from Liaoning and Sichuan are absolute delicacies.

Xia long bao was delicious but special fried rice was anything but special. Very disappointed with this underwhelming fried rice containing just a few small pieces of spam like pork. Will have to return to Laksa king for my next special fried rice.

This Vietnamese place took me by surprise, as its sumptuous laksa (4 dumplings alongside this order) and veg dumplings are to die for!
Do try their stir fried glass noodles, its light and yum. The prawn crackers are a perfect snack with the chilli oil on the side or to dunk in your laksa!

One of the worst meals I've had - food was cold and tasted like it was microwaved. Never again!

The atmosphere, service and friendliness of staff, and beauty of detail in the restaurant itself is equal to the quality of their food. Excellent for family's or a gently lit date night

Order and wait for 10+ mins, the food was ready in the kitchen and the waitress didn’t serve in time. Im in hurry to work so I took 1 mins to eat 1/3 of the food and leave. Food was good, only the service need improvement

Authentic Chinese dumping with juice inside and golden crisp outside, one of the best dumping in town.

It's okay but not great. Food is very very oily and not flavoursome. Not exactly healthy. They don't serve enough rice. Not authentic Chinese.

Large restaurant in Flemington high Street. Called in here early on a Sunday evening. Only a couple of tables taken at that time but seemed quite popular as more people came in after and seemed to do a good trade in takeaway. Dumplings were delicious, so delicious we ordered a second helping, and very reasonably priced.

Just awful food. Beef dish was watery with very little taste. Calamari tasted like soggy undercooked flour and honey chicken was like it had been cooked yesterday and microwaved. I didn't think it was possible to get such terrible Chinese food in Melbourne. Truly disappointing

Went for dinner, they had Peking duck pancakes which was reasonably priced 7/10 the bbq pork buns 10/10, vegetarian fried rice was good to have with sweet & sour pork. Food came fast, was hot and servers were busy but had a quick chat. $70ish for 2 people to share & 2 beers.

Arrived tonight at 630pm table for 3.
Great vibe. Food was great. Service was great. Our waiter was a lovely polite young man.

I don't know whether the one who voted 5 stars for this place have ever tasted real dumplings. The dumpling wraps are too thick and tasteless. The fillings are okay though.

The food is really good when it's right.

Today I had a really poor experience, we placed an order online as we do love this place for their beef/lamb Sichuan pan fried dumplings. We drove 22 minutes, picked up the food and went home.

Upon arriving home we found that the dumplings were not what we asked for. No sauce of any kind on it, literally just bare dumplings stuck together.

I called the store and said can I either get a refund or someone to deliver the sauces. I was told they would deliver fresh dumplings with the sauces, I expressed that we are 22 mins away they said it was fine. Waited 20 mins got a call back to say they would not be delivering as no driver would deliver to our address. Keep in mind our order was placed at 12: 23pm and it is now 1: 45pm.

At this point, we are hungry and quite annoyed that we waited another 20 mins for a false promise and basically no food. The old dumplings are now cold so we can't even have that. Spoke to the manager and he genuinely just kept cutting me off but he did agree to a refund which I am waiting on.

Overall, really frustrated that I've waited over an hour, wasted petrol for food I can't eat and that is not as requested. It's additionally frustrating when I asked initially for them to either deliver or refund and they opted to deliver, make me wait a further 20 mins and then say they can't.

Very disappointed as I generally love this place.

A very reliable Chinese Restaurant - After trying many in this area, this is our go-to restaurant.
Great dumplings amongst a great variety of menu options.

We couldn't even take the chance to try it. Few seconds after we entered, an extremely rude waitress started to talk loudly to us, telling us to "move apart and sit down". No "please" or "bitte schön". When we tried to ask him which table to sit to, he continued making jokes and showing his totally disrespectful. We immediately left the place with a very unpleasant feeling.

I think that the management direction will read this message so I have to describe him, he is a young man, quite fat and Asian.

It's a shame for I Love Dumpling to have such a rude person in their staff. I cannot in any way recommend visiting this place.

Dumplings are delicious, especially with the Sichuan chilli sauce! The service is quick and efficient. Definitely will come back again.
