Huong Viet Vegetarian & Vegan

The food here is always excellent, I can't get enough of the mock chicken.probably one of the best vegan places around in my opinion

This has to be the best vegan/ vegetarian restaurant I have been to. Since becoming vegetarian, 6 years ago, I have not had sweet and sour pork - and OMG it tasted so good, like how I remember it. The rice paper rolls are highly recommended with the peanut, spicy dipping sauce. The crispy mushrooms - delicious, crunchy and absolutely not soggy at all.

A totally unassuming place. Fabulous, tasty food especially for Vegans. Great prices, great food and quick efficient service and totally appreciate the warm welcome that greets you upon arrival by the main waiter. Great quality Vegan Vietnamese food.

My friend and I are regular customers and we love the food and all staff members here, except the middle aged with short hair waitress who has always been rude to us and other customers (from our observations).

I've been here a few times now and always blown away by how delicious all the food is. The all vegan menu has so much variety - we had the mock duck pancakes, fried wontons and combination pho which all had so much flavour and great texture to the mock meat. The pho especially was full of flavour which is often missed in vegan pho. The prices are very reasonable, the food came out quickly and the staff are lovely - you can't go wrong!

Full disclosure, I am not vegetarian or vegan, and I do enjoy the flavour of meat.the food was delicious, I ordered the beyond beef pho and it provided a very authentic meaty flavour and I was satisfied with the fake beef which tasted good and didn't have an off-putting texture. I also tried deep fried lemongrass tofu and bun bo hue which were also amazing and authentic.we also tried some entrees, the Japanese korokke (croquette) were underwhelming, small with only corn and potato? Inside.but the spring rolls and especially the vermicelli rolls tasted just like non-vegan versions.

I would definitely go back again.

Delicious, authentic, full of flavour! Highly, highly recommend! This was our first time doing takeaway with Huong Viet Vegan. Lovely, friendly service. We ordered the spring rolls, two ‘beef’ mains, satay tofu, and assorted veggies with mock meats and tofu. Everything was PERFECT! I CANNOT wait to get my next fix of Huong Viet Vegan - already thinking about what I’m going to try next

Great portions, great prices, great food. This place is amazing, if you’re vegan (and even if you’re not) this place is a must visit. Only a five minute walk from Footscray station, making it super convenient. I’d recommend seafood or pork but everything on the menu is delicious. If you need gluten free, most of the tofu and vegetable dishes are okay.

Exceptional vegan vietnamese fare! The friendly lady across the counter helped us choose. And the food did not disappoint. Spot on flavours. Had the peiking duck roll, make your rice paper roll, garlic chicken and the BBQ fried rice. All in all a great meal! Will definitely be back for more and will probably try their BBH:)

Food has always been amazing here however when I dined in today it took a total of 30 minutes to wait for a bowl of noodle soup. It was quiet and maybe just 3 customers in sight, after reading the reviews it seems this may be an on-going issue.

Huge menu, yummy salad was epic and the Japanese Korokke was so delicious. Now my local staple for vegan and vege food!

This place does not disappoint! Yummy vegetarian food at your doorstep. The decor of the restaurant makes for a very tranquil dining experience.

Friendly service with delicious Vietnemese vegetarian & vegan food in Footscray. My must order is their Bun Rieu (tomato crab noodle soup) and Com Tam (broken Rice)! Check them out and let me know what you think

I'm not even vegan and absolutely love this place! The flavours are unbelievable. Service is always great. Recommend the sizzling beef or Mongolian beef. Simply amazing.

I have been waiting here for an hour. Then the food coming without any apologize. They are blamed for the day we came because it was vegan day. Disappointed.
