Very nice costumer service as well as the fish I had, the garden salad and the greek salad's choice was the cherry on top. Evan is the man offered us complimentary jam donuts.keep it up guyzzzz.

Food is decent but they can be slow.

You can tell they are under extreme pressure at times as it is busy and staff can be extremely rude and unprofessional.

Decent quality at reasonable prices. Staff are friendly and BYO allowed.
It was fascinating to watch the large amount of home deliveries they send away.

This would be the better store of the franchise as so well set out. Staff/management were quite helpful and huge amount of food as you certainly get more than your money worth

I always go for the rice, greek salad and grilled fish. With a lemon wedge on the side. Just hits the spot sometimes!

Glad I stopped by today to have hunkydorys, the food was amazing and the service was awesome. I had the hunky dory pack, the batter on the fish was nice and crunchy.will definitely be back.

I've eaten twice, first time go I'll. Thought give it another try, didn't get sick but the fish was so over battered and dried out, couldn't eat, chips were.well say no more.don't recommend.

Friendly service. Great like every other Hunky Dory shops out there. Glad that they opened up in Balaclava

We dined in last night, and had the barramundi meals with salad. The portion sizes were great and it was delicious. Your super salads are so fresh and rich in flavour, definately a reason to come back for!

We thoroughly enjoyed fish, chips and calamari rings yesterday, thank you Best chips we've had in years! Lightly salted, not dripping in oil and as crunchy as can be, extremely enjoyable.
Was well worth our divertion from the hospital prior to our trip home.

Amazing staff, amazing fish and chips only bad thing is they don’t have the classic chicken salt for your chips, so BYO or Have without!

Fresh seafood and the burgers are the bomb absolutely delicious and friendly staff are very accommodating cosy little place with a great atmosphere

UPDATE: the office manager has since contacted us and following this issue with the highest quality of customer service. We are happy our feedback had been taken on board and will give this venue another go!

We ordered some calamari and blue grenadier this evening.super disappointing! Food was blend and arrived cold.although we live only 700 metres from the restaurant!
Trying to support locals but won't do it again, thats for sure.

Just finished the FOD wrap with panko Parmesan crumb. It was AMAZING! The fish was so tasty and the salad was beautifully fresh and great flavours combo. It was actually TOO good because I ate the WHOLE thing and it was
massive, I really should have stopped at 3/4 but it tasted so delicious that had to finish it! The service is always great, everyone is so polite even when they are flat out. Thanks for the delicious dinner.

Hunky dory, the world of seafood with amazing staff. The new Veg & Grilled salmon pack is just incredible, ah I still can't wait to eat another pack for my lunch that I order almost once a week. Most Impressed by the divine food and the exemplary service.

The new bowls with brown rice, cabbage, sesame, corn and capsicum are just amazing, had mine with grill fish. Highly recommended! We also had the calamari with sweet potatoe wedges which was very yummy as well, ask for extra sauce at the counter as it comes with very little sauce.

Clean food, very big dishes, healthier than other fish and chips places. Their salmon pack (grilled) is our regular. This new hunky dory in balaclava is well designed, spacious and clean. We love Hunky Dory's food.

Excellent batter, fresh fish, warm old fashioned service that is really rare these days. I'm not local to the area but would happily travel there.

Today i was there having a lunch and saw a racism cause with a delivery driver from the chef was disgusting

Had a wonderful and unique experience here. Jane was fantastic very welcoming and gave us suggestions on what to order and made our experience very unique. Definitely going back thanks to Jane.
