Hunky Dory Fish & Chips Balaclava

I be honest, I don’t give reviews but this place made me to give them 5 star if there were more options of start I would have given without a doubt.

It is a perfect perfect restaurant. You cannot get wrong. It is very very very reasonable I swear…. I had 7 people Delicious food for $150 only along with drinks. Come on where do u get a food like this in 2024 in Melbourne.

Incredible owner and food.always ready to help and they couldn't have done a better job in my opinion. Will definitely be coming back and hope everyone at least tried this place out.

The food is delicious and the team that work here are so friendly. A big shout out to Kamal for always greeting everyone with a smile. Keep up the great work.

Portion size of the chips we ordered from Uber eats. Would not recommend ordering from here.

It's far too expensive for basic fish and chips. Nice but nothing special. Much cheaper and better chippie up the road.

Was a nice spot with seating inside and out. Unfortunately they didn't have a y of the vegan fish but the Cauliflower was nice instead

Excellent fish and chips joint. Very lovely dine in experience and friendly staff. The fish was cooked very well and the price was very reasonable for the area. Some great value in the flake packs and grilled packs. Highly recommended.

Good price, but way too much batter. The scallops and flake were disappointingly small, and the serving of chips wasn't large either. I wouldn't object if someone else suggested it, but for myself I'll be trying somewhere else next time.

This is the best hunky dory’s I have been too so far! Our food always comes out so quickly and is fresh and tasty. All staff are so kind and friendly. I highly recommend you coming to try this out for yourselves!

If I could give 0 I would, if you are ordering through a delivery partner, don't bother. They are rude to delivery drivers who are just trying to do their jobs and keep them waiting.

My experience as a customer - 1hr 45 mins, 3 different delivery drivers assigned who couldn't wait, 3 different support contacts to the delivery partner, and two phone calls to the restaurant - one rang out, one engaged. My heart broke when the driver rang me directly to apologise that he couldn't wait again (this was the second time him going back to the restaurant, costing him earning time), that the restaurant still was saying it was a delay, and were rude to him.

If I were the owner of this store, I would be doing a review of the staff working tonight (Tuesday 2nd November), they are damaging your brand big time.
