Hungry Jack's Carrum Downs

The food made my husband ill. The bathroom was filthy and the restaurant wasn't very clean either.

Made an online drive through order. Still waiting over 45 minutes for my order to be put through. Know its the festive season, shame the staff at this store upholds the motto of the silly season of extreme poor service. Either Hungry Jacks, jacks up its service or stand down its incompetent staff.

We arrived late afternoon and ordered the newly announced boneless chicken, the price board showed pictures of chicken similar to KFC but no prices, on request we thought the attendant said $5.50 for 5 pieces, I also ordered a Chicago Angus large meal deal. As we waited I noticed the car in front being handed a large drink and a bag then drove to the windows to get ours. I was handed a small coke and the bag was very light, I opened it to see one of the hunger tamer meals, I told the girl it wasn't our order and she had words to another staff member, it didn't look friendly. She then gave me the large coke and asked us to wait for our meal. We parked up and the bag was soon given to us, a quick look confirmed a large chips, a large burger and a box of chicken so we drove home. On arrival the first hint we'd been had was the chicken, it was 5 pieces of bread crumbed chicken tenders, these had actually cost us $15+ yet I could buy a pack of 18 in a supermarket for $6. The next surprise was to open the burger box and find a small sized burger but in what I assumed was a large box, the chips were OK but for $32 we could have gone to the local pub or RSL and got a far better meal. I contacted HJs complaints line and Andrew confirmed they'd been getting a huge number of complaints about the chicken and in particular about the Carrum Downs store. I also voiced my unhappiness that our "aussie" burger chain no longer supplied the Aussie burger but was happy to sell American style burgers; again apparently another item often complained about. For me I'll only be buying from Carl's burgers from now on, MacD only serve trash and their meal deal sizes are now barely enough to feed a child and this isn't the first time HJ in Carrum Downs have let us down. As for my complaint all they could offer was a sorry. At least KFC offer a refund or replacement if they stuff up.

Got a Carolina whopper hunger tamers box, everything was good except the actual burger which had no lettuce, bacon the size of a 50 cent piece, and all the rest of the fillings to one side of the burger, covering about 20% of the surface area. For an advertised and promoted burger I expected way more. If I ever want HJ again I will travel to a different location.

Had lunch with the wife and a friend. Service was polite and efficient. Always a cheap and convenient way to have lunch when out and about.

My husband prefers Hungry Jacks as what they advertise is what you get Unlike other misleading burger stores.

Had half my order missing.
Tryed calling them but will not answer there phones.
Really bad customer service and the food I did get didn't taste good too.
Would not recommend them at all.

It's 6pm on a Sunday and I just got told "we don't have beef burgers". That's a new one!

One of the worst Hungry Jack's. My burger looks like someone sat on it (wouldn't ve supirsed if someone actually did). Gave them another chance and disappointed as usual. How hard is it to put a bloody straw in the bag.

Probably the best hungry jacks I've been to. Short wait time. Burger is never undercooked and it all taste nice

Had to try bypass a heap of pushbikes scattered at the door, ok food & service, Toilets filthy

What can I say other than its fast food. Quick expensive and although filling at the time of little to no nutritional value.

My 7yr old grand daughter asked for
H J's over Mc D. Your nuggets taste much better she says. So a drive through for me was easy for a quick lunch. Many thanks B

Love Eating HUNGRY JACK's best meal in town / very neat & very clean - the staff rush for your orders in record time / right in the Regional Carrum DOWNS shopping centre - very nice atmosphere & quick service

Probably one of the worst Hungry Jacks I've been to. Went there last Friday night and they stuffted our order up and gave the wrong food, very lucky we checked what was inside the bag or we would've driven off with someone else's order. The staff were unsure what the error was and we were waiting in the drive through for 20 minutes. The food they gave us was luke warm. Had a pretty bad experience here, will most likely not return. 1/5

Rest rooms need an upgrade they feel like your in a dungeon or jail cell. Staff though were polite and friendly and we got our meal fast and it was hot and fresh.
