Excellent service from Humphries Road medical centre. Arrived early and did not have to wait, straight in for injection, 15 minute afterwards then left with relevant paperwork and booking already in place for follow-up injection.

Friendly staff and all the Doctors are great helping with all you medical issues. Fantastic nurses that help make the Doctors job easier. Convenient all in one clinic with all medical services located at same location as well as chemist.

Excellent doctors, nurses and reception staff at this centre. I always feel confident in advice given and follow up treatment recommended. The current immunisation clinic is a well oiled machine!

Usually my visits present no problems and I can see the doctor of my choice. However last week I cut my hand which required stitches. I telephoned to make an appointment and was informed that as no nurse was on duty I would have to go to Hospital Emergency. Very disappointing service. I had 3 stitches at Peninsula Private at a cost of $300 for the visit and was only seen by the doctor on duty. He didn't have a nurse to assist him. I was clogging up the Emergency facility for this minor procedure. It would appear that doctors only want to give out prescriptions and not do the difficult cases.

A highly dedicated team that have special care facilities (procedure room) so any medical procedure can be carried out carefully in a controlled and safe area. They also have the aid of practise nurses taking precise notes and carefully caring for patients. I have been observing this practise in action since 1986, (35 years) when it became established at the “top shop” in Humphries Rd. The practising physicians moved this inspirational practise to 265 Humphries Rd, Frankston South, (to a larger area to totally expand the practise) which was done to meet the changing growing needs of the practise. As the practise expanded more physicians came on board and Dr David Awburn has been dedicated to my care since 2003, and has met all my needs of a general practitioner, (with proficiency) coordinating my care simultaneously with my specialists at times. Physical examination of any area is done thoroughly to ensure you feel well cared for regarding any medical conditions that should be noted. You can see the on-site Pharmacist after your consultation and everything is covered (succinctly and completely) including getting a reminder to enable timely collection of prescriptions as required. Dr David Awburn has kept pace (with knowledge) and has worked hard and long with devotion and skill. In general, he has been very helpful and has always offered follow—up care and assessment. I could not have succeeded without Dr David Awburn’s experience, patience, and remarkable skill. My debt of gratitude cannot be fully paid; and I wish to express appreciation and pay special tribute to Dr David Awburn. I would highly recommend this group of practising physicians to anyone needing medical treatment. I have seen infants, children, and adults there. Dr David Awburn has given sympathetic attention to me (as a patient) and commitment to understanding of my deep feelings. He has kept pace with my individual needs so I recover with the appropriate treatment he has planned. The Humphries Rd Medical Centre practising physicians and receptionists are easy to communicate with, and they will work hard and long with devotion and skill. One of the great features is they have Healthscope Pathology on-site so patients can take a number and be seen straight away for tests and drawing blood samples. The lovely nurses display a lot of care and are exquisitely sensitive and gentle, so when the needle goes in “it’s not hurting”. Pathology tests are established quickly with clinical data for optimum care of the patients condition. I have brought my family and friends to this practise for care and appropriate treatment, and to talk to caring practising physicians.

Today I had to see Dr Kerr because Dr Sol Mililli was booked out but Dr Kerr was a very good man and I enjoyed meeting him and wish him all the best with Humphries Road Clinic.
