44OK for timber and garden, good for bargains and power tools, no steel, limited fastener stock, hard to find staff.
Had the wood that I wanted but when I went to get it cut down to size (a service they offer on their website) a worker told me that the machine had gone off to lunch. He then told me that it was too much hassle and to go to bunnings in epson instead. Do they use their wood cutter to cut their sandwiches?
Reliable old Bendigo firm. They generally stock what I'm after. Friendly staff and good advice. Prices are reasonable too.
Great service and friendly staff keep us coming back. Having recently completed a new build and started on landscaping (River Gardens Axedale), we have visited Hume & Iser almost weekly to purchase parts for our garden watering systems.
These guys will do you a deal on price if they can. You only have to ask.
Make sure you sign up for their rewards membership card. We have built up $10, $20 and $50 worth of points in no time at all. It's great to shop in their garden section and find that you don't have to hand over any money at the checkout - just use the money from you accumulated reward points.
