HOYTS reviews
46Yeah it was pretty good got a bit lost trying to find my cinema but they certainly and gave a hand with finding the the cinema
Dirty, sticky floors, smelly cinemas - very poor standard of hygiene. Literally rubbish all over the floors, definitely not cleaned frequently if ever.
Projection system appeared to be poorly focused, sat though 20 minutes of ads at far too high a volume, Toilets were unclean and infested with flys, vibes were overall kinda a downer, probably just gonna pirate the movie next time. Please lower the price of the LED trolls cup and I will consider returning to your business and re-reviewing the vibes.
I feel like the image and sound quality could be a bit better in xtreme screen. At the same time the quality of the popcorn too (as it was a bit cold).
Great seat! Grest sound! Great ambiance! Great place to see great movies! An almost lazyboy feeling. Very relaxing and comfortable. This Hoyts branch is far better than the other branches if not the best. Thats why this is my favorite cinema.
A bit annoying at the moment having escalator access blocked, presume works happening. You don't find out until you've gone up two sets that you either have to walk up stairs to access cinemas or go back down and take a lift.
Enjoyed watching Wonderwoman 2.
WW84.
I used subtitles which is not as good as Headphones.
The male staff member was good and caring.
Thanks to him.
Kinda run down. Some rope was obscuring the corner of the screen in Cinema 11, the headrest on my chair was split open and it's not the nice reclining chairs. Just little things.
15 minutes wait time from the start time mentioned on ticket. Always go 15 mins late if you don't want to see random advertisements.
Melbourne central hoyts is pretty good, if you get a big cinema it's great! Sadly every hoyts is over priced and really not value for money, however it's still better than most.
Good place to catch a movie. Seats arecomfortable and snak bar is ok nothing special though. They also have a extrememax theatre and Lux.
Substitutes the recliners for more seats but the cinema does fill up so it makes sense. Lines are kinda long but they move quickly. Good popcorn.
I watched the last Avengers movie here, unfortunately I was not able to see it on the XTREMESCREEN but the screen in the regular theatre was perfectly sufficient. In fact I distinctly remember saying, “Not bad, good size” when I walked in. Audio was clear, seats were comfortable. The only bad thing was some absolute moron yelling spoilers towards the end of the movie, but he’d left it too late anyway. What a moron. I bet his parents look at him and think “What? How. ”
$20 flat rate tickets.outrageous and explains why the theatre was empty. Never again. Can go to a local cinema.smaller, friendlier, less cheesy and we can see a movie for $24 for two. What a terrible business model you have, Hoyts! The cost of one movie equals 4 months' Netflix or Stan subscription!
Cozy place to watch movie. But you'd better get there early before movie start if you want to drop by to get some popcorn, cuz it has lots of que.
Easy to get tickets onsite. Efficient Staff. Big and clean cinema centrally located right at tram stop. All the latest movies showing on massive high quality screen and awesome sound. Clean toilets. Plenty snacks to choose from.
Very commercial operation they don't do seniors cards on the weekends so it's full price so I don't go there anymore I would rather go to a cinema where I feel invited and being appreciated for being there regards Mark Wilden
Went here with a friend, messed up the movie time but the customer service people were great and fixed it up for us straight away
Choose a movie house to you liking.xtreme screen or the premium hoyts lux a dine in cinema experience.
