Massive burgers with tender chicken, what else do you want? PS visited them after 2 years, same exceptional quality, huge burgers and moderate prices, 10/10

Home To Roost is one of my favorite places for Chicken in Melbourne. It's a small lovely venue that grills their chicken to perfection!
I usually get half a chicken with a medium serve of chips. The chicken is consistently juicy and tender and the fries are amazing as well.
Can't go wrong with this place! Also, I recommend their tasty gravy fries. They are housemade and so rich in flavor! Highly recommended!

Best chicken I've ever had in my entire life. We live just behind home to roost and probably go there atleast 4-5 times a week due to its combination of deliciousness and affordability.

Best charcoal ever, the workmates and I hang out all week for Friday charcoal here! Unreal burgers and great chips

This chicken is delicious. A little more than a whole chicken from other places, but the taste is also much nicer.might be because they're gluten free, organic, free range chickens

My favourite chicken place south side of the river. If you get in for an early dinner they have the most delicious potatoes!

Great place to find a feed worthy of the family. Their chickens are roasted to perfection, being served a perfect golden brown. We ate a Family Clutch pack which came with a large serve of chips and salad, which fed our family perfectly! Can't wait to visit again

Delicious chicken burgers for a ridiculously affordable price. Salads and chips are also fantastic, with generous serving sizes. Great local gem.

I’d say if its the best chicken in the world is an understatement. Quinoa salad is to die for, please give me your recipe plese please please? !

First time I'm writing a review. But being a mum and wanting a night off from cooking I put the suggestion out there and bought a whole chicken and chips the chicken put us all Running to the toilet sorry to say. I didn't even get a chance to clear the table when my 3 year old said I want to vomit. What a terrible experience and the chips were burnt

Home to roost is seriously the only place I ever want to get my chicken from. It's so tasty and it'll blow your mind. LITERALLY.

Good neighbourhood chicken shop. Prices are in line with what you expect from the area. Salads are good, chips need more salt.

GREAT place to get a bite. Burgers are HUGE so he warned, chips are perfect you cooked and seasoned, and the chicken is fresh! Small place so don't expect to get a seat, but food can always be relied upon!

What an embarrassment of a burger.stale brioche bun on my Lola.was like cardboard!
10$ for a burger alone and they can't even get it right.

My friends and I head down there after school to get chips every week. The people there are also very nice, we have a friendly chat every time we go.

A great chicken burger, more pricey than your average charcoal chicken store but then again it's not your average store.
