Holgate Brewhouse reviews
74We visited as a family my partner enjoyed his pulled pork burger and my thai curry was delicious. The kids loved their burgers. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Great venue.
We are so incredibly grateful for the generous support of Holgate Brewhouse to our fundraising effort. There for Clare has been set up to raise funds for Clare Waites as she fights a rare and aggressive cancer and Natasha showed no hesitation in supporting the cause. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
Great food and good choice of drinks. Get get a bit cramped when it's busy but all round worth the stop.
Great pub with own brewery. Had a sample taste of some beers and bought a six pack. Friendly staff good atmosphere.
Food was; ok price was a bit high. Beer nice. Had better food at other pubs for cheaper prices. Kids meal overpriced and rather ordinary. $12 should include a soft drink and a icecream. I guess this what you get being 'close' to Melbourne.
An excellent selection of craft beers all brewed on premise. Get there on a Friday night and expect live music as well. Some beers are a touch pricey but on the whole it's worth a visit.
Went to Holgate Brewhouse for a early dinner. I bought fish and chips and it turned out to be one of the best fish and chips I've ever had. Fish it self was fresh and not oily, the only downfall was the subpar thick cut chips. Would definitely visit again if I'm in the area.
Good little location, all local ingredients used to make their beer. Good hoopy tastes and fair prices
Dropped in for a quick beer after a ride on the local trails. A+ service and excellent beer as always.
Delicious food! We had the beer bread and vegetarian Thai red curry, which was flawless. Sat in the beer garden which was really lovely with fairy lights and heaters that customers can control. Beers and ciders were great too, we had the chocolate beer and pear cider. Will be back on my next visit.
Good selection of craft beers and a great bar. Looking forward to the new brewery and seating area opening up out the back
Great beer and good food. I have been there once. The place was family friendly. The service was good and quick. Good place for families with little one's. Variety of board and other games for kids.
My husband loves the beer so whenever we are close by we must stop in for a drink as well as some take away beer.
Beers were excellent, loved the hand pumped ESB and porter. Service was good, albeit “order at the bar” but priced like a restaurant. Food was okay. My chicken Parma was on the small side of things and I’ve never seen bones in a Parma before, that was kind of odd. The venue itself is a bit ramshackle, bar looks cool but the immediate eating area behind is a little underdone.
