Lovely staff, one of the best prices for developing film in Melbourne at high quality, when I first developed film here the email went to my spam inbox so I didn't know I had received them until a week later. They also sell a small selection of film, batteries and more. Hard to find at first.

I can't express how happy I am that I came across Hillvale. I've been trying to find good places that develop+scan film for a while now. Tested out a few other places, but always ended up disappointed by either the scans, the prices, the wait and the customer service. That's why I'm so impressed with Hillvale because how simple and quick and kind their staff are. Literally gave in 6 rolls of 35mm film in 4 days ago and just got my scans now! Very prompt, and the quality of the scans are amazing. The prices are pretty good too. Will be definitely be sending in more film here in the future.

I cannot sing their praise enough. I came in on the first week they opened after the holidays with five rolls of film. I imagined this would be expensive and take a while to develop, given the quality of their developing, and that they'd be backed up from the holiday break. However, not only was it a very reasonable price, the rolls were developed in under a week. I would recommend them to any film photographer, for their affordable prices of rolls and developing, along with their quick turnaround times and personable staff that are always willing to help.

Honestly, the best photography development service in Melbourne, if not Australia. Fast, efficient, awesome drop box service and great quality, what's not to like? Oh and cheap too!

Amazing! It was my first time ever shooting in film, so I was abit weary of the outcome but they came out so nice and super quick. I’m really happy about the results!

I've now come here for the development of multiple 120 and 35mm format films in both colour as well as black and white. The staff are great, very friendly and fast. They have done a great job of all my films developing and scanning them. They can do a rush turn around in a hour for an extra fee if that's what you need otherwise it takes a couple of days. Would strongly recommend them!

Cheap as chips. The dude at the counter was a bit of a snob but c'mon its film photography they're all like that.

Great staff, quick turnarounds with your film. Not a massive selection of films available to purchase in store. But other than that really awesome neg cuts.
