Best business in Australia to get your film developed! Since moving to Queensland I continue to post my rolls down to Hillvale because there service is so good!

The scans I receive from Hillvale are always on point, and the turnaround time is very fast as well. There are lower priced dev & scan services, but quality wise they are definitely a step below. If you want excellent high res scans (short of a Flextight, of course), the Noritsu scanner at Hillvale brings out an insane amount of detail from films such as Portra 400 even in 135 format. Great people with great service, highly recommended!

Dropped off some film at their 24/7 drop off box at the roller door. Got 2 rolls of colour and 2 rolls of B&W developed. I requested uncut negatives for my own cutting and scanning.
Payment was requested after they had finished development, which I could pay when I picked up the negatives at their lab.
Both rolls came back in the best condition I have had for film developed recently. No scratches, well looked after and sleeved.
Will definitely come back here again.

They have really nailed their covid safe drop box situation very well. Always very speedy. When open have good range of film. Last time I was there I saw a nice pet rock?

Dropped off film at 10pm, ordered rush development, received photos at 11am the next day! Incredible service.highly recommend.the self depositing thing is a bit daunting for newbies however I just checked a few boxes and I was golden.some more info about what the process is and what each of the boxes I ticked meant would be helpful for the newbies.would recommend either way.

It is a real disappointment. The high res scan only a jpg file with 72 dpi. They should make it clear on the request form. I would like expect high res from a jpg file.

I have filmed developed in almost every state and Territory. From 'pro' labs to rinky dink 1hr turnaround labs. Hillvale's scans and services are the best I've ever come across by a country mile. In my opinion Australia's best lab.

Hillvale always delivers high quality scans, even if I get the low res option. The service is quick and affordable, but I’ve never had them make a mistake over the 3 years I’ve gone here. Added bonus is their Dropbox delivery which saves you a trip to collect the scans. Usually a good selection of film to shoot too.
