I've been very happy with Hillvale's film processing (development and scanning) results over the past couple of years. Usually very prompt and delivered quicker than estimated. Impressive facilities, very friendly and professional staff.

Best lab in town with the fastest service & scans are always on point! If you scan your own film, the turn around for just developing negatives is even faster. Also have to mention the staff here (great bunch of humans) I always see them helping out newbies with whatever questions they have about anything camera or film related which is great to see. I Couldn’t recommend more after only using Hillvale for the past few years for all my film needs.

I used Hillvale a few years ago, and I was sometimes disappointed with inconsistent results. However, for the last 5 years I have been living overseas, but recently returned and thought I would try them again. I have been pleasantly surprised with their prompt and professional service, the results were fantastic, and their prices are so reasonable! I'm so glad that the future of shooting film is in the hands of good labs like Hillvale and it's inspiring to see their passion and commitment to the craft.

We received great support via email before deciding to develop with Hillvale. The results are amazing, we love our photos! Drop-off at the Collingwood dropbox was super convenient.

Quick and easy process! I dropped the film off on Tuesday and received the invoice and photos 3 days later. They turned out great, super happy with them. I won't be going anywhere else now. Thank you

Great to find a place that still develops photos! Although they don’t print them, You get them sent to your chosen email and I was super impressed they managed to get anything off my couple of disposables that were damaged and about 6 years old!:)

Bloody brilliant! Dropped my 2 disposable cameras off to get developed today and paid for the 24hr turn around and got them 2hrs later! Such lovely team to speak to, they really made my day!

Can't recommend the team at Hillvale enough. Super polite, helpful and did a really good job with my film (despite my horrible shooting giving them a tough job to fix). Dropped off rolls and had it all developed and emailed to me just 3 days later. I will definitely be coming back:)

I've posted my film rolls to many Australian labs before. Some boasted a quick turn abound service but scan qualities were poor, some developed rolls had many blemishes on them and other labs just had poor service when asking questions via online. Hillvale Photo are different. I think I've had the best experience with this business out of all the local Australian labs. Their prices are competitive, their turnaround is so quick and I have never had an issue with a roll of film here. 10/10. I wish their endeavour with their new store will hold up for generations and I hope to have many more rolls of precious memories pass though your wonderful store <3

I've now come here for the development of multiple 120 and 35mm format films in both colour as well as black and white. The staff are great, very friendly and fast. They have done a great job of all my films developing and scanning them. They can do a rush turn around for an extra fee if that's what you need otherwise it takes a few days. Would strongly recommend them!

Will forever go to this place for all film needs. Have been going to hillvale now for about 6 months, and they have always been so prompt with there turn around and so quick with any queries whether it be via email or phone.
