Hien Vuong Pasteur reviews
65My favourite pho place in Footscray. The noodles are so delicious, their texture is so yum, I think they make them in house or buy them super fresh. The owner is a really lovely man. Try the crispy chicken for something different, the dipping sauce is really good too.
I have been coming to this restaurant for 18 years and the family who runs it are beautiful. Tim is great and always friendly.
They create the most beautiful pho bo I’ve ever tasted and their spring rolls and Vietnamese coffee goes great with it! Also the broken rice with the lot is fantastic and comes with a little side bowl of broth. Best Vietnamese in Melbourne!
Absolutely incredible. My heart and soul are restored after a big bowl of PHO from here. Thank you for making such delicious food!
Food is alright. The owner is not so friendly. Can go to the other pho places on the street for better pho and service. Take aways are forced to purchase the$15 medium pho which is a rip off for the size
Ordered a couple of dishes for take away. One of them was special broken rice. Once we got home, we realised that they omitted pork skin, which was the reason my partner had ordered the particular dish. When i called they said that the pork skin had run out and it had been substituted by a different condiment. Upon further query, there was no substitution afterall, they just thought we wouldnt notice it. Obviously very disappointed by their unprofessionalism and we definitely wont be visiting again. The size of the dishes were also very small, and they didnt include soup like all other restaurants in footscray.
My favourite place to eat Phô!
We’ve been going there for years and owner has a great lollie stash for the kids. Great cheap family joint to keep warm for those cold winter days.
Got take away. Was very delicious. Owner is extremely nice.
Gave me tea while i waited.
New renovation looks top notch.
I've been going here for about 8 years and always get the chicken pho and prawn spring rolls. Completely addictive! And good prices!
Have never tried the other food so can't vouch for it either way.
Used to be better.will still be back there whenever I visit.beef blood soup with chilli is a must try.
Was very nice food but a little bitter about the young mans manners who served us, maybe some education.
The postive: Friendly and attentive staff, quick service, delicious food. The Negatives: the tables are a bit squashy because they seem to want to cram in as much as tables as possible, the menu was displayed on one wall and not everyone can see that far or from their seating positions to order so we had to ask for menus to read on our tables.
One of my favourite places for pho. Has been there for years and I keep on going back for the special beef pho.
This is my favorite Vietnamese pho restaurant in Footscary. Food are delicious and boss is very friendly too! Highly recommend No. 19 beef and chicken combination and spring roll (you can do half prawn & half pork). Not too busy compare those two restaurant next to it. So you can enjoy your food and breath easily.
Look I'm no pho expert but this has been some of the best pho I've had also prompt and friendly service.slowing becoming my go to spot for early morning pho and spring rolls.
I Hien Vuong Pasteur in Customers Service, it's Look very Naturally Likely Family & Friends that's all from my Feelings & (Pho/Beef/Noodles Soups) is One of the Most Popular Cuisine Vietnamese Foods, there are all Delicious to me, Different Person, Different Tasted, & my personal, I Like Hien Vuong Pasteur, hehe & Hello.to All Friends.
Ventured here after being repeatedly informed that this was the quintessential Pho place to be.
Sure enough the Broth was decent, but lacked the depth that I was expecting from bone marrow brewed hours on end. The Bún Bò Huế Broth also fell short of that encountered elsewhere, such as Cu Do.
Not sure if the older guy that served us was somehow aligned to the ownership of this place, but given his cavalier attitude and lack of response to human interaction, I'd say so.
If you order the vegetarian rice paper rolls, you're gonna have a bad time. Pho was good though. Just, seriously, not the rice paper rolls. You've been warned.
I have been dining at this restaurant for the last 15 years. It never fails to hit the spot. Wether its for a quick bite on the go or a relaxed sit down with a hot bowl of delicious phò. This place always hits the mark. If you are wanting authentic vietnamese rice noodles this is the place to go. Their ice coffees are also a standout here. Cheap and tasty.
Definitely one of the better noodle soup places in Footscray. Been coming here for a long time and will keep going back.
By far the best pho I have had in melbourne and very reasonably priced for different sizes. Large bowl is 12.50 and more than enough to fill someone.
