Excellent winery with an unbeatable view across the Yarra Valley. A wide range of high quality wines for tasting, courtesy of Mark who is an outstanding host. Without doubt, a must visit in this beautiful region.

Great location overlooking the Valley. Well laid out and plenty of space. Wine presentation on this visit lacked polish, wines were basically poured out to us and not fully explained as to what we were drinking. The cheese platter was ordered before we started our tasting and wasn't served until we had finished the flight, which was not ideal.

There were maybe 5 tables that had other guests, so not to busy, had better tasting experiences at other locations.

Pinot Noir the pick of the wines for me. $8-$10 for a flight, which I think is refundable on a purchase.

A small winery but they are pushing the boundaries with their Wayward Child range of Celler door wines. One of this places where you could stay all.day chatting to the staff. The cellar manager has a depth of experience and an interesting background in coffee.

Brilliant service today during our tasting! Was a great experience with an explanation of every wine before tasting and making sure we were enjoying ourselves the whole time. + The view is incredible. Left with three bottles and will be back.

A family member of mine was spoken to in a condescending manner by a staff member, tainting our birthday / mothers day celebrations here from the very moment we arrived. Meals offered for the mothers day event did not reflect $80pp cost, food served on small plastic plates. Called to discuss experience and told I would be contacted back, never occurred.

We came a little later before 5pm. And they stayed open for us. Lovely owners. Wonderful views. Great wine. Just amazing.

We had the pleasure of visiting Helen and Joey Estate as part of the AmazingCo Mystery Picnic. "2 Glasses half full (with logos) " Sarah and "Back of a farm truck" Steve made sure our wine tasting was not only delicious, but memorable. They were warm, welcoming and served an amusing anecdote with each tipple. Thanks for taking such good care of us. We will be back!

Visited 2 weeks ago during school holidays. Beautiful setting. Went at lunch time, no food available at all which was disappointing as we went for lunch. Tasting was good but tiny serves. Would have bought wine if we had had more than a sip, and some food (even cheese and crackers) to make us stay. We were the only ones there and prepared to buy and support local but sadly left empty handed. Service was good, perhaps less talking more tasting!

We love visiting Helen & Joey's every time we visit the Yarra Valley. Since COVID-19 we thought we'd missed out on their delicious wine. However, we saw on their website that they are offering free delivery so we bought their 6 bottles mystery box for $90. They were so quick to deliver, the box is full of all our favourites and the saving is amazing. We'll continue to support this winery into the future.

Fantastic open views and really friendly service. We visited in the late morning before it got too busy and really enjoyed our time. They had a lady who spoke fluent Chinese help us and she made it an even better experience with how friendly and caring she was. Food and beverages were on the slightly costlier side but it's par for the course in Yarra Valley esp given the awesome location and views. Advice from staff was to go well before it gets busy in the afternoon

We did a tour with some friends over the weekend and have been highly recommended to visit Helen & Joey. However it was a big disappointment due to their lack of service and poor selection of wines - and there's NO UNICORNS. The person who poured wines for us was impersonal and did not provide any explanation. It felt like they just wanted to serve and go. Maybe it was because the venue was busy but come on, do your job correctly, we could've gotten better service at a local pub. The wines were too acidic and generic, maybe offer some better wines to people who are coming from afar. The reason for the 2 stars is the view from the deck was beautiful. However I wouldn't recommend this winery, maybe try next door, there's plenty of places to visit in the Yarra Valley.

This has to be one of the highlights of my trip. We were exploring Yarra Valley when we chanced upon Helen & Joey winery. For a mere $5 you can test most of their wines, know about their story and composition. The view from the deck was awesome, the best I've seen in the area. We ended up buying half a dozen bottles of their delicious and superb quality wines. This is must visit in the area, you won't regret it. The staff was extremely helpful and kind to us.

I love to stand out side for testing season wines here. But 5 year old Helen & Joey Shiraz is my fever.
