Employee provided inaccurate information over phone and wasted over an hour of my time driving to and from. Manager provided no compensation for the inconvenience. Overall experience was terrible.

We attended the store today with the intention of purchasing a washing machine & dryer but left because of our experience with the sales person. The product we have been researching for some time had a hot deal ticket on it and we were ready to purchase, but when the assistant checked on the system it showed that the deal ended a week ago. She rudely advised us that we couldn’t purchase the product at the price on the ticket. This is the reason why people now purchase online instead of going into the store.

Service is good as i think you can expect in 2023. Floor staff appear more interested in talking to each other, than me buying a $5k tv!

Completed online order select C&C deliver to your car option, got to store, followed instructions and parked in correct position, notified store, then waited over 20 mins to get my item.
I could of walked inside, picked the item from the shelf, paid and walked back to the car in less time!
Then I provide the same feedback as this of my experience to their survey and you can’t even respond.
To then sum it all up I waited 3 days to receive my invoice (plus I needed to send emails to get it sent).

Serves me right for given them another chance…. Never again!

I would like to thank George and the Yamaha rep (Kurt) for their excellent customer service and follow up.

I purchased over $4,000 worth of Outdoor Amplifier and Speakers for our pergola area for my sons birthday. He wanted a LOUD party, so it was time to upgrade our older unit.

I purchased a Yamaha 7.1 surround sound system and Klipsch speakers. I ran into issues trying to set it up for the pergola as it kept thinking I wanted a surround sound system set up, instead of six evenly spaced ceiling mounted speakers and a subwoofer.

I went back to the store to see if they could help me. This is where I was greeted by George.

He contacted the supplier and also took ownership of my problem. He actually informed me on how to fix the issue (it was just a small configuration issue) and also called the Yamaha Rep.

Just when you thought the days of customer service were gone, every now and then you receive this awesome type of experience.

Thats also why I shop in store, just in case I run into these types of issues.

Well done George and also Kurt from Yamaha. Goes to show, you can buy anywhere, but when you have Retailers and Suppliers working hand in hand, you'll always get looked after.

I cant thank Harvey Norman Chirnside Park and Yamaha enough and highly recommend them both.

As I bought this equipment for my sons birthday party. In his words, "Dad, it went off". So a very "Loud" shout out from him also.

Thanks again for all your customer service and follow up. Great prices and excellent customer experience.

I'm happy to say, I'm now a very loyal Harvey Norman Chirnside Park Electrical department and Yamaha customer.

Very poor. Warehouse support took 15 to 20mins to bring a small item to us, which should have taken 5mins, we were the only ones waiting. We use Harvey Norman in Munno Parra South Australia great customer service and Chirnside Park Vistoria needs to up there game. Very poor customer service.

They do a good service but they always try to get extra money from your with their extended warranty, they don’t ask how you feel about it they just hassle you until you buy it saying how much better off you are. I put a claim in online while waiting I bought another cheaper tv from hi fi to tie me over they never mentioned extended warranty which was appreciated. I took my warranty tv to a repair guy 2 days later $400 dollars fixed unfortunately during Covid product care are over booked and under staffed leaving long delays but they won’t tell you that and still take your money using sales tactics think twice about their warranty your better off without their poor service

Awesome service!
Chris B was very knowledgeable about the stick vacuum I wanted to buy. He helped me compare options, and work out what was best for my situation.
A lot better price in the end than The Good Guys.

I wouldn't buy any electrical things from them because on Monday 18th January 2021 I purchased a Samsung 525L Top Mount Refrigerator - SR520BLSTC for $936 but Ally threatened me by saying it the fridge doesn't fit we won't be changing it for you and she used profanity so I would avoid at all costs because nobody should being speaking to their customers like that since it is disgusting.

Disgusting treatment from the owner who was in plain clothes with no name badge. Was refused and lied to regarding a refund today. I have spoken to two other Harvey Norman stores and both agreed a full refund would of been given at their store. I will be following this mistreatment up with the ACCC and Harvey Norman head office. I have never been treated the way the OWNER treated me today as a consumer in any store in my life. As the owner of this franchise, it shows a complete lack of consumer rights and professionalism. He had ample time to process a refund but he refused. I also express my disgust as a consumer of this store and commented i would never return here again. I hardly ever write reviews but this owner made me feel bullied and belittled as a consumer. The only option given after I refused a store credit, I insisted on a gift card as I explained I would never spend a cent in this store EVER AGAIN and want nothing to do with my LOCAL Harvey Norman which is a shame. We immediately drove to a different Harvey Norman store and purchased a smeg kettle with some of the gift card money and was treated by two staff members with complete respect and professionalism. As a local of 20 years this is only local store I will never support again! I do not want a lame rebuttle response from this store. It will be filled with lies anyway!
