Hanoi Hannah Vol. II - Vietnamese Restaurant

I went their and we got the chicken pho it was absaloutly delicious we ordered our food it came so fast it was like a five minute wait Hanoi Hanna is an absaloutly outstanding restraunt literally DELICIOUS!

The voucher system is a joke, We have a $160 gift voucher, We went in for a meal and then told we cant use the voucher as its online only. If you go online and you can only buy a banquet meal only? WHAT A JOKE, take good money and convert it to a voucher you cant use. Staff wont help and just refer you to the website. Why is a gift card treated differently to cash? Also the online delivery system doesn't recognise the address.

The staff and ambience are good. Some of the food is outstanding while some dishes just didn't cut it. The fried chicken, chicken Pho, salads and chocolate tart are all outstanding. The mushroom pho and tofu chocolate mousse are worth passing.

Funny story: We requested Sriracha sauce to liven up the mushroom pho. After we reminded the waitress again, she told us they had no Sriracha and brought us chilli oil. A little later we noticed a large bottle of Sriracha on a trolley at the entrance to the kitchen: -D

We came over for lunch and overall, it wasn't busy at that moment but we had to wait for a while and no staff even bothered to ask, sitting or look after us. And even when we already sat there for 15 mins, they just stood in the bar or kitchen. We raised our hands to call them but no one cared. They just came quickly when I asked to pay.

The food is quite good but $80 for 2 salads, a small plate of entree. It really doesn't worth it! You increase the price but your service goes down!

It seems like nearly every time I try to order here through deliveroo my order gets cancelled.after about 30mins of waiting for it as well

Have the signature mojito it's the best. Mmmm prawn spring rolls. And can't go past the second item on the menu the crackers and stay sauce. And always lovely staff.

It is the worst food i have ever had in melbourne, two dishes and 5 springe rolls $85. Dont come here

We had our wedding anniversary dinner here. It was an amazing experience that is totally worth the rare 5th star.
We had the "vegan all in" that was a delicious 3 course meal.
Amazing starters of "prawn" crackers, with peanut satay to die for, spring rolls and pickled veg. Delicious.
Then eggplant / aubergine tacos: the texture was amazing with a deep fried taco made from something (not corn) that I can't remember sorry.
A delicious yellow curry, Thai style, was the main with some rice and a refreshing pickled veg salad (different to the starter)
The final cacao mouse had these delicious crunchy bits of yumminess it made it amazing.
Service was great too, they really looked after us, and made sure our choices were aligned with our vegan values:)

Disappointing to find European mint on a Vietnamese salad!
Rice paper rolls are a bit meagre on the protein, they fill them up with lettuce.
Seems a very trendy place, but food disappointing.
Bowls at Mopho Canteen much better. They are so generous with AUTHENTIC herbs!

We had a great meal, 4 people, fast service. Staff knew food really well. Good description by service staff as it was our first visit at this new location. Food was around Vietnamese cuisine but innovative and well thought thru as to modern ideas.
Order was delivered in a timely way. Good customer service when we ordered mineral water and the manager herself came over to apologise that the shipment had not arrived that day. She offered a free drink on the house.
A touch of hip'ness in layout adds to adventure:) To quote one of our party "a lovely dining experience".

Disappointed with inconsistency of delivery partners…
No regular timing & days for delivery slots.
Also, orders are taken and then 30-45mins later advised that “order can not be confirmed”.
Wasting people’s time!

First time I’ve eaten in, normally get the Uber Eats version (also very good). Really outstanding food. Cured ocean trout is sensational - do it. Staff were lovely, sorted out take-home leftovers really promptly, decor and atmosphere.

Ordered a pork banh mi and it didn't had meat at all. It only had 2 big slices of Pure fat. Absolutely disgusting and shocking to be honest. I would never order from there again

This was an easy five star review. They nailed the service, food and atmosphere. I ordered the chicken ribs and duck. The ribs were very yummy but the duck was off the chart. Easily the best duck I’ve ever eaten. Congratulations and thanks!

Called to make a booking. Was informed to just walk in as they are not doing booking for the time I’d wanted to book (7pm) and they should tables available. Walked in and was told no tables were available.

Another restaurant with poor service post covid

Lock down take away salads and rolls where nice but small. $50 between two people was not enough food.
